Hope it all goes smoothly Curly
My niece has spent a fair bit of time there since birth and the work they do is second to none IMO
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My niece spent a tremendous amount of time there with her Leukemia, at the old place. The people are simply fantastic
My GD has a large birth mark down the side of her face / forehead and they are inserting a rubber balloon in the other end and will gradually pump it up over 4 weeks to stretch the skin so that when she gets the birth mark removed she will not end up with a squint. Its quite complex but has to be done, she will be fine as she is a wee fighter
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's amazing what they can do these days.
Curley fantastic work. Hopefully everything goes smoothly with the op.
I've raised for them before as my nephew has spent lots of time in there with various issues related to his digestive system. They've been absolutely brilliant with him as I'm sure they have been with your GD

Don`t want to read through all posts to find out if the info is there, but will the charity info be done online, that people can donate from afar? Yorkhill is an excellent choice. My daughter was in there for a few days as a 1 year old.

Hadn't really thought about that but I suppose there is no reason not to.
Mainly because I expected all donations to be made on the day.
Good idea though for maybe sharing on JA
Apparently he doesn't even like football

Might be a good idea (if we are all going with the fundraising idea) to setup a justgiving page or something similar?
Just update the post with the details and people can donate easily.
Murney, might be an idea to get a general idea on here, if enough people would want to donate first, before going to the trouble of setting it all up, although that is a difficult thing to do, putting people on the spot a bit
