Agreed. They'd come up well short against any of the big three, and I think even the likes of Manchester City could take them.
I'd say so Flash. Apart from our good spell in the last 15-20 minutes of the first half when we scored it felt like they were giving us a bit of a footballing lesson at times with their passing and 63% possession. We looked like the away side much of the game.
I hate tht Ibra guy...what an arrogant and cookky basward.
PSG are not special tbh , Chelsea are avg at their best on current form (Table doesn't lie..mid table PL team playing against French top team). Apart from Barca, Madrid, Bayern, I can see them even loosing to Atletico or City.
I think they're a good side with a good manager. They certainly have good game management and they have match winners (and wI'll prob ably add more). Good mixture of youth and experience as well.
Lol. Serious underrating of PSG going on here.. As robbing said. They've got match winners. Something we had in abundance about 10 or so years ago when we were feared in the champions league.

I'm just glad that Verratti was injured yesterday as it could have been a bigger defeat with him bossing midfield against us.

That doesn't give you license to be arrogant and cokkky. There are numerous examples of legend players but very down to earth and polite.
They are certainly better than us. However, they are not that good in the possession game when pressed. PSG is built for counter attacking football but we gave them too much space and time and made them look like Barcelona.
If you watched when we actually did press them, the lost the balls several times in dangerous areas and one resulted in our goal.
I believe Leicester can take them..LOL
If they can avoid Barca then they have as good a chance as anyone of winning the CL and they're as well equipped as anyone to even beat them.
Cavani and Pastore don't even get in the team which shows you how much strength in depth they have as well.

I'm not at all sure that would have happened if Verratti had been fit. He's their key player in CM, maybe even their best player.

I love Ibra, certain people canbe cocky and arrogant and get away with it and he's one of them.
Ithink PSG are a very good side, arguably the best side in Europe after the big 3. Juve and Athleti come into the argument, maybe Dortmund but PSG certainly up at that level.
Lucas is savage as is what's his name, the Brazilian center back that isn't Luiz, although Luiz is a good player.
PsG or City, which of these two will come of age in this seasons C/L comp ?
And yes PsG are a very decent side today, imo.

PSG are a good side and made to look excellent by our lot.
They had so much freedom to pass it was unbelievable.
Player to player they have better players than us and our superstar is out of form.

Agree with this ^. The big 3 are a step ahead of everyone else, and have been for a few years. But Juve, Atleti, and PSG are right behind them and could beat them on any given day. Chelsea were at that level a few years ago, but have lost that strength of character that players like Lampard, Essien & Ballack gave us. Even though we lost in close games against PSG, we are a long way from being that competitive. It's going to take an overhaul from our next manager to get us back to that level.
Have to say that they are very good however when pressed high and relentlessly they show their weakness in possession. However, given the space and time, they are quality through the final third and unlike us, have the killer final ball.

Costa going off last night changed the game.
Agree completely with the OP
I think they are a lot better than some would believe...irrespective of the league they are in...they are 23 points clear
That doesn't come easily...& their squad is solid
No. City would beat them if they showed up, fack sake Arsenal could beat them. They better hope they don't get Barca til the final as they won't be as sloppy and wasteful as we were. They will annihilate them.
They are a very good side, We made them look better than what they were, We feared them and it was evident.
