That's not a good background story.
Win win situation,if they want to make money out of BWFC the only way to do it is to get back to the premier league
Supporting a club taken over by some very dodgy wide-boy spivs might be some people's idea of a win, but it certainly sn't mine.
The game has been over for a while
Blame Gary Megson
They win we lose they are in it for making money not making fans happy we needed a billionaire not a group willing to sit on it until the time is right when they can then sell up make their money and move on leaving us in some lower league somewhere.
Madnotlobian- Deano has always looked likea wide-boy spiv to me..
But he was still a better centre forward than Madine .
What about the spivs who have been running the club for the last 13 yrs. do they not count
I have a 9 yr old grandson who is better than Madine, I have a board who are better than the outgoing ones and for 65% less money.
Sports Sheild will get their opportunity & its only fair that they do, Championship survival is a must, but i don't think Lennon has it, i hope he has but don't think so...
The fat lady reprieve has been given the green light after the fat lady vowed to see the job through once she has recovered from laughing at the new owners being saddled with more debt (owed to Ed) than the initial deal contained. Dean should have gone to specsavers there's more in the finer detail and small print. Well PG did set the wheels in motion to palm it off to SS so what did you expect.
So much for due diligence.
Pasty where has the news come from that states that the new owners are saddled with more debt than the original deal and when did that happen? Was it when we found out that Eddied had clauses in the contract? If it was, didn't that get sorted when the FL refused to ratify the deal?

Since you are one of the elder of the forum I'll try and explain. Use your imagination and code book.
Now you remember Saturday night TV when Paul Daniels had his show and the Bunko Booth showed you card tricks Western style. Think of it like this where the cards are column on a spreadsheet. As the deal was touch and go all in so to speak the pot was short so by moving things around you get to pass the FL by the dealer who by slight of hand switched a figure in column D2 and moved it to D1 I didn't see it at first as it looked just like we had seen it on the table I think our eyes were distracted by concentrating on the late name change to get it done or we would have gone bust.
The end result the dealer Ed managed to add to the amount owed to him which did remove some of what was required by the FL pass figure.
Then there are the special deals for success which didn't count as they are an unknown they may come in or they may be worth a lot but as you know the dealer ED will win and be better off.
Dean the punter ends up with Rok all (get it) above the very bare essentials and finds he also needs a new sponsor asap to replace the amount lost in the dodgy shuffle.
Pasty- you don't really think Dean'os been hoodwinked
Do you,
By the way I don't expect a straight answer. 🤔
Well Deano started with a quid and he hasn't got it now it's been replaced by a rather large loan. If he sells a player for 10 apples Dean will be lucky to get 6 apples the manager as you know will end up with zilch for a long time to come
Now you know why Sam stated Ed was a very shrewd hard business man. We had Dean the upstart up against the grand master Ed who still has his stake money a nice profit and a nice little investment guaranteed to provide a tidy sum.
Very good ,I really enjoyed that, 5⭐️
Glad you liked it you did say you didn't expect a straight answer.
You'll understand with Dean being a trainee in this business why he'll not go far on this deal.

That's just as well because you'l never get one from pasty and the code book is useless, That's if you can find an up to date one. The odd few that have survived the Burnden Park days, have book mite and are unreadable.
Good to see not all the grey cells have left you yet SWIE and you remembered the apples PG went in search of many years ago.
I see Dean has found a tin opener and commenced opening the cans of worms in the secret cupboard behind the one where Leroy lives. I'm still waiting for his call I'm anticipating him wanting to buy back the transfer fax machine.
And you can bet there were plenty of cans. Probably Leroy's rations.
