I know it is mad, like that Super Sunday a few weeks back, how the hell did it wend up that the curretn top 4 played each other, no way anyone would have picked the current top 4 to be this at that weekend.

Any points v Leicester would be more than welcome though, and on these occasions the players themselves generally do their best to impress the new gaffer.
Might be too soon, might not be the main focus, but it's almost guaranteed that they'll give it more of a go than if they hadn't ditched McLaren.
IMO Newcastle need to start winning games Asap , loose there next 2 and they are down.
You won't get the honeymoon effect from Benitez. That's more of a Redknapp type manager that can galvanise players and give them confidence quickly. Rafa's not one to put out fires. I've read Steven Gerrard's book and it sounds like he's a terrible man-manager. Doesn't talk to anyone. That Newcastle team need to be told how good they are individually. He's get them organised eventually but 10 games? I doubt it.
Knowing our luck they'll beat us later this season! We should've won at WHL in December when leading 1-0.
