The joke is on you as you obviously read this crap.
Clearly a load of nonsense, but for what it's worth (i.e. a big fat zero) I think Henderson would do really well for us.
He suits the pressing game we play, excellent work rate, has potential to improve (and therefore sell-on value) and has leadership qualities. CM is also a position we lack depth as seen on Thursday.
Never going to happen, but interesting to consider how he would be almost a perfect signing for Poch
While we're talking rumors, I heard one recently.......
Alli is off to Madrid in the summer.
Jordan Henderson is a good player but nothing more, He wouldn't get in our side ahead of Dier, Dembele etc.
and we wouldn't pay £25m for a back up player.
Load of bollox.
Jordan Henderson is a pretty good player. And he would be a good addition to any squad, but no, I don't see Spurs spending big money to add him to the squad
I don't think he'd be a terrible signing and £25m these days in the Premier League isnt a huge amount but more importantly, where do I apply for one of these sport "journalist" roles?
How difficult can it be sitting in the office all day making up nonsense with no quotes, sources or relationships and baiting people in so you charge advertisers for clicks. Brilliant.
True. It's all about selling papers, not about getting genuine facts. The best ones are the "exclusives" that are reported by every major outlet and still don't come to fruition

What you doing awake sizzly ?
Nonsense story, but if it winds up the mousers I'll buy into it.
I don't believe that for a second, but we do need to strengthen our midfield options. Bentaleb has been off the boil for ages, and I don't have faith in Carroll and Mason.
Should whoever we (hopefully) buy be a backup? No. We should get the best player we can get. If they happen to be better than Dembele or Dier, it'll only improve the team and the squad.
Why would we want an overrated waste of money in Henderson
Horrible player
Wouldn't surprise me if his agent wants to get his client a pay rise so plants a story with a lazyarse journo.
Ok player, but not £25m unless that includes his salary for 4 years...
The Sun is obviously on a charm offensive in Liverpool
That rag can't stop lying.
Would be Spurs' best midfielder but simply can't see Liverpool selling him, especially considering we want to challenge for the position Spurs occupy.
However it wouldn't be a huge surprise considering Spurs should be in the market for a midfielder and he's one that would improve them and we've got a new manager who may have different ideas which inevitably will see some players leave, some shocks some not.
That's right TOOR. Henderson is doing a great job guiding Liverpool to a mid table finish. Meanwhile are inferior midfielders are driving Spurs to a title challenge. That makes lots of sense
If I had to cherry pick a couple of the scouser players for our bench I would pick emre can and maybe Sturridge
Good back up to dembele and Kane
top article for me
its classic joke to even suggest Hendo as affectionately known in the land of doldrums should be linked to us
He only plays for title challengers like Liverpool

Is Henderson, who I'll refer to as Forrest Gump, is any better than:
Eriksen, Dembele, or Dier? the answer is an emphatic no.

So your manager may be looking to offload him because he want to challenge for the position that Spurs are in?
What does that tell you?
Spurs are already in that position so why would we buy a play who can only...brings us down

Mason and Carroll
Mason and Carroll certainly aren't spurs best midfielders.
That would be Dier and Dembele and Henderson wouldn't get in ahead of them.
Hendo is one of the most underrated players around
At least a few on this thread recognised this thankfully
