Two season wonder

He has to score at least 20 though, given the formation and being Spur's main outlet. He is a good player of course, but world class he is not and he should score more in my opinion. I would imagine most of his goals are against the likes of Villa,Norwich and other newly promoted clubs so not exactly earth moving stuff if you catch them at certain points of the season.

Of course he is and there was never any doubt don. Kane was always tipped for the top.

One of the smartest players on the pitch football wise and arguably in the premier league.

Glory glory, your imagination is totally wrong you plank. Harry Kane has scored against all the big clubs and has a superb record in NL derby.

Shaun M, laughing but can't even back it up you mug. Harry Kane is the 2nd best striker in the league along with lukaku

4 goals against Norwich alone

And goals against Manchester city and Arsensl, fail to mention that though hey

Glory glory, you ain't winning this debate... His record against the top clubs is superb, jog on

Needs to improve his assists numbers and up his shots to goal ratio. This will come in time. He is going to be great for us and I hope he stays for years.

Kane is a great player, who id love at Old Trafford. One of my favourite players actually, he has great technique when striking a ball.

Kane needs a lot of chances, but for me he is the best striker in the Prem, always puts himself into the position to have at least half a dozen chances again.

What I love is how rival fans like glory glory have now ran out of excuses they can't say he's a 1 season wonder anymore. They can't say Kane only scores against small teams because that's also bullsh** as Kane regularly scores against all the top sides.

Fantastic player. I know sometimes it can be seen as a flaw but I love his link up play in deep positions. His lay offs for others are usually very good.

He's not as good as Aguero, let's be honest.

Kane in my opinion is the 2nd best striker in the prem behind the world class Augero.

i think thats 23/24 goals now with 19 prem goals, last season he got 31 theres no reason why he can't get to that with the 9 games left. (unless we somehow get through against Dortmund).

He has still got room for improvement, he can be a bit too selfish and needs a bit more awareness of other players in better goalscoring positions.

I'm sure will get an end of season review which will highlight his need to look up more and perhaps pass than shoot

His form prior today actually wasn't very good. Something like 3 open-play goals in 17 appearances. Hopefully this will be a return to form, that isn't just about Villa being a totally shiiit team.

Why is he not as good, because everybody says he is not as good, if he scores more goals, season after season then he is better. Aguero did not score the amount of goals Kane is scoring in his first couple of seasons.

Being selfish is a trait of all good strikers!

about 50-60% of his goals have come at Norwich, Bournemouth and Villa and the Spurs system plays around him, I am not saying he is rubbish by any means, just not world class.

I'm not trying to "win" anything, just having a debate.

Sandy, he scored 30 in his first season, and is a lot more injury prone than Kane.

When he's fit he's the best striker in the league and better than Kane, but there's no harm in being below Aguero, although if Kane can keep improving he could be at that level.

Aguero is a better footballer than Kane, I'm sure we can all agree on this. In terms of effectiveness as a striker then its much closer.

Kane and Lukaku are much more similar in ability, although i think Lukaku is having a better season.

I don't think there such thing as "the best striker" if you simply base it on goals scored. The game has changed, the best striker nowadays is a forward who is a team player and judged on the overall output of him, whether than be goals, assists, defending from the front, whatever it maybe; the way that team dictates it's system around his strengths. If that teams wins who cares?
