The worst referee at the 2014 World Cup is officiating, this should be fun

The LFC players will be like starstruck school children when they get to train at the home of the Champ22ns.
Think the current 2-0 scoreline will be the biggest influence on Thursdays game, irrespective of how dogsh/t the ref is.

dont be silly, its only old toilet
They might even get the autographs from their superiors, famous names like Rashford and Borthwick-Johnson, who one day they dream to emulate.
Champ22ns?
And I thought utd finished 4 th last year, must have missed the parade!
It was a poor decision to stay at home to train. Nothing more to be said.
I didn't know that there was such a ruling in place by UEFA. It would indeed mean that there is slightly less advantage for the "home" team.
Though Van Gaal would have been all over that and taken advantage of the opportunity.
Unless the players got through to Giggs that they'd prefer to stay at home and Giggs recommended that to Van Gaal.
Good idea. Man U should try the same.
Didn't Ferguson always travel to Liverpool the day before even though it was only down the road.
I guess Klopp wants his players to fully appreciate what is at hand. Get them out of a routine of going to Old Trafford and treating it a bit more special. You could sense it their press conferences last week that Klopp was more up for the tie too.

Disagree with that, it's treating it the same as any other European tie. Which is what it is.
If there's an advantage however small, of being on the old trafford surface and surroundings beforehand, then it should be taken.
Not sure why this is newsworthy.

Umm why? 🤔
"Disagree with that, it's treating it the same as any other European tie. Which is what it is."
Yes, but it is also treating it differently to every other game Liverpool will have ever had a Old Trafford. Maybe Klopp didn't even question it and just did what clubs always do in European ties but I'm sure it will give the Liverpool players a different sense going into game which could or could not change things. Equally maybe LVG feels a more familiar set up before a game is preferential for this game.

Liverpool have never beaten us at Old Trafford in Europe so treating it like a European match is clearly not going to work as it has not in the past. Forever in our European shadow #WorldChamp2008ns
It's a perfect use of mind games by Klopp
