Spurs/Leicester XI

Only Mahrez of the Leicester team would get in the current Spurs team, and then not sure whether he would hold down a permanent place.

I'd have Fuchs ahead of Rose, he can take a good set piece and Rose is no better a defender then him.

So 10 of the 11 Leicester players wouldn't get in but they sit how many points ahead of you Sandy?

Kneerash

I would also have Lamela in the first 11. I think rival fans and Spurs fans included underrate him. He has been awesome for us and helps make us tick.

Actually I completely agree with your selection apart from having a heated debate about Fuchs/ Rose but the rest of your selections make sense πŸ‘

But on the flip side if you have 8 out of 11 in the team this doesn't reflect too well as you should be above us as you have the better players πŸ˜‰

I think these things are always difficult to do because you don’t watch the other team live every other week and there is always a tendency to overrate your own players.

I’m not offended that you would only have 3 Leicester players in your team. Our strength this season has been our collective team and has not been based on individuals purchased for multi millions. How else could a team like Leicester realistically compete with those big teams over the course of an entire season? We shouldn’t be worried that when individual is compared to individual that the other team might have more quality (for me this makes it even sweeter that we’re top).

I’d have Mahrez, Kante and Vardy in the team. You could have arguments all day about some of the others, but you could equally make a case that Spurs have better – so I won’t even bother treading that path. Morgan is underrated, he’s had a brilliant season and is better with the ball than Huth. The latter is just an out and out defender and not a ball player, but after last season we recognise the value of that for our team.

Kolo

I don't give two hoots how many points in front they are, they are still an awful football team. Like Greece when they won the euros, would any of their players made the Spain or Brazilian side.

Fuchs is a decent fullback. I had him in my top 5 underrated PL players a week or so ago

But Rose just has that extra dynamism. Can get up and down the line more and is a bit underrated with the ball at his feet

Morgan looks so bad on the ball. Give him time on the ball and he looks like a confused donkey

Been really impressed with Rose whenever I've seen him this season.

What is this?

The reality is that Rooney and Welbeck will play for England ahead of both Vardy and Kane.

Wake up!

Sandy

Apart from the first 3 games of tournament footy, it's knock out over 120 minutes and pens. So a certain amount of luck is involved.

A 38 game season doesn't come down to luck, the team that wins it has been the best over the season.

And I'm sorry but to say they are an awful footballing side is balls!

There has been a lot of Spurs fans on our board today, however I agree with the OP but would have Fuchs in for Rose.

Has had a couple of poor moments this season (Palace goal in the cup comes to mind) but for me he's been the best English LB
