Not sure how things work in cricket but in football, we generally wait prior to predicting a "drubbing."

that said we could win 9-0 id still want him gone tbh.

Thanks mate. I already had my article written and was planning on just hovering over the publish button until Tue inevitable. You've saved me the effort

I said at the weekend there that I thought we'd draw with West Ham and win 1 nil tonight and that would in turn lead to our esteemed leader bullishly saying we were progressing and on our way to great things, like every other time we get a half decent result. Completely ignoring the fact it would leave us half way out of one competition and fully out of another

OP, I suggest you wait for the match thread, then you go on and do the following;

1. Criticise the teamsheet before it is published
2. Criticise the teamsheet when it is published
3. Call the manager Louis van Ghoul
4. Then follow up with the Dutch Fraud
5. Hurl abuse at Lingard
6. Ask what happened to Pogba
7. What the hell is the philosophy
8. Dutch Fraud
9. Say we spent 300m
10. Talk about the Utd way then ask for Jose
11. Dutch Fraud
12. Van Ghoul
13. Cry, whine, then cry some more

A truly unique approach

MUDd, somewhere in that list needs to be some derogatory comment about Young and or Fellaini.

Fellaini deserves it.

MUDD
I think you need to post that list again and post the same sort of driven you usually do when anybody criticises the great one. It must be at least a few hours since you thanked him for the job he's done and the great squad he'll leave us with (even though it clearly isn't)

Both are hardcore levels of garbage.

Oh dear, the great one I criticise as well and want gone at the end of the season? Appears to me you live in some parallel universe, certainly not the one I live in.

The fact I do not cry every day like a little girl about the manager does not mean I enjoy what is going on. I will thank LvG for the job he has done managing our transition and will thank him for the players he has signed as well as the youth he has brought through.

The difference between us is that even when someone does bad things, I can praise him for the good things.

If in your opinion, that is "drivel" well, I am guilty of praising the manager for the good things he has done.

It is much better than whining all the time like you do or being happy like Cleverson when we win and happier when we lose.

if we sold fellaini today, how long you reckon before these same lot have a go at ANY manager who did so when a result went against us?

No, you just continue to write your patronising nonsense. Didn't you write virtually the same list last week trying to be clever?

posted on 17/3/16

MUDD he's done a horrendous job, his signings have been average and he's promoted youth in the most desperate and unconstructive way possible. He already has Rashford on the wing. Not to mention that he doesn't promote them based on ability, but rather based on necessity. Keep thanking him though, you'll be in a very small minority. As most people can see how he's taken us backwards and has peed a fortune down the drain

I do not need to try to be clever, it comes naturally.

No, the list I wrote 2 weeks ago was quite different. Good to know you check up on me, I'm so touched.

Here's the deal van gaals signings are all bad until the new manager takes over. When these signings start to perform under the new manager van gaal will be blamed for not getting the best out of them.

You can never go backwards.
Experience gained is experience gained.
As for money - are you suggesting Wenger has it right?

You are pretty patronising and your posts are very very repetitive, particularly for someone who takes such exception to others constantly whining

Never mentioned Wenger, but one look at how Arsenal and United have fared since LVG took over will tell you he's got it more right than the philosopher

I will always have sympathy for a manager who has to deal with ridiculous injuries.

I would love to have seen where he would have got us with a full squad.
10 more points at least putting us second in the PL for starters.

Look at City, missing arguably the PL's best player in De Bruyne and centre back in Kompany and they fall short too.

Merry

What fortune has been peed down the drain? The spending argument is such a lazy one and truth be told is devoid of context and is to be honest, a whole lot of BS.

People act like he spent 250m to a championhsip winning squad but completely ignore the 28 players that have left the club since 2014. How do you replace them?

With pies and chips?

Now, let us look at what LvG has spent, shall we, the £250m?

Shaw - 30m (I was against this but people on here were happy with it, now it is a stick to beat the manager with)

Di Maria - 60m (recoupled 44m) did not work out

Herrera - £30m

Those 3 players alone cost 120m, he also signed Darmian, Memphis, Romero, Martial, Morgan, Bastian, Rojo, Blind for the outstanding £130m combined.

Those players are mostly young guys from different leagues who will take time to develop but the building blocks have been put in place.

So if you believe he has peed money down the drain, those players are clearly useless? Right? No future, no hope, no way in hell any of them can improve.

City added 150m worth of talent to their squad already and are 4 points ahead of our dross.

We are not far off being contenders again, and we have some talented young players in our team. To deny this is to deny reality and further illustrates the lengths some will go to not give the manager credit for anything.

Look at Spurs and the way their players have grown after a shaky start. I find it odd, I have to tell Utd fans to have faith in young players. Very, very, strange.

Full list of players that have left the club since 2014;

Patrice Evra, Jack Barmby, Anderson, Darren Fletcher, Bebe, Angelo Henriquez, Shinji Kagawa, Wilfried Zaha, Nani, Alexander Buttner, Javier Hernandez, Tom Lawrence, Danny Welbeck, Michael Keane, Tom Cleverley, Marnick Vermijil, Robin van Persie, Angel Di Maria, Saidy Janko, Rafael, Jonny Evans, Anders Lindegaard, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Radamel Falcao, Tom Thorpe, Ben Amos, Federico Macheda
