"Thoughts on this."
If you win the league I reckon you will play there
Lets not get ahead of ourselves
Word of warning...
Mad pressing over 90 minutes in the heat at Wembley one week before the PL begins can result in injuries.
The smart move might be to come second.
u20916-the smart move would be to get off this site.
I'd love to see us get a Wembley visit, but because it would mean we'd won the league rather than it being Wembley for Wembley's sake. I don't know whether the place has lost any magic in my mind, but seeing the article title didn't excite me like it might have done in years past. It's probably because there's a bigger fish to fry right now.
Will Drinky get to play there possibly for England?
That must be the gaaaayest nickname ive ever heard. Drinky pmsl
Looking forward to Palace and possibility of challenging for Europa league. Enjoying this season. Wembley far in distance - maybe I'd we do well in League cup next season?
"...and possibility of challenging for Europa League".
Well, what else do you think they've been doing for these past months?
Assuming we manage to stay up next season - and after 47 years of going to Leicester games I know not to take ANYTHING for granted - we are likely to get to play regular league matches at Wembley as both Chelsea and Spurs want to use it during redevelopment of their stadiums. However, I read somewhere that they may be constrained to using just the lower tiers (50,000 capacity) due to local council constraints on the annual number of large events. UTF.
