Going to be at home sitting watching with 3 UTD fans. If we score first one of them said they will leave. All day they been sending me msgs saying lfc are gonna get smashed. For them to come back they will have to play the best the've done all season. Would love to smash them today just to see their faces!

Man U have never even scored against us in European competition, never mind beaten us. Ever.

They need to score twice to even have a hope tonight.

I'm in a hotel at Manchester airport tonight, so will be in the bar which will hopefully be full of Mancs 😁

Game will be over in 20 mins and then it will be time enjoy Paul Scholes and Rio whinge at half time followed by the LVG out articles.

I am worryingly confident, even more so with the news that Blind and Herrera are missing.

I have a similar feeling to that of March 2014 when we went there and won 3-0 in game 5 of our 11 game streak.

I just have a good feeling about the side at the moment. We are defending better, we have most players fit, and momentum is building.

Firmino is showing Suarez-esque form (not quite that level but not far off), Sturridge is yet to hit full stride but is always a threat.

Just confident.

Normally I'm quite negative before matches. But I just think today we are going to be well up for it. That defeat by City in the final really hammered home that the players will need improve otherwise they are gone. This emotional game is right up Klopp's street. When LVG will be sitting there quietly making notes and rubbing his face Klopp will be demanding more from the players. When a player is not doing his job Klopp let's them have it. However do well and he makes a point to praise you.

Take for instance last game when Joe Allen came on. Before he got subbed in you can see him.dictating what he wants. Then he had a laugh with him and patted him on the back. You notice the difference between how players act with Klopp and BR.

Sad day for football really - that really isn't acceptable.

I know it's wrong to punish the vast majority of decent fans but the club should be punished for that...
