Good player for sure but look what's happened to Hazard. See what he does next season. Bolassie is another who generally looks very good and scope for big improvement with him. Someone (not us) should take a risk on him. Unpolished diamond possibly ?

A PL club in a battle with either Barca,Madrid,Psg,Bayern and Juve for a player will most likely come up short.

So,PL clubs will again spend a fortune and most of that fortune will most likely end up at Southampton

Why would Mahrez leave Leicester at all? Looks pretty certain they will win the league, play in the CL, and most definitely he will receive a plump salary next year. We're being delusional thinking he would leave a club having a fantastic season for a very uncertain United. Leicester have a tight-knit squad and camaraderie while we're in shambles. We're just not the team we were under SAF right now, and until something BIG happens here, we're no better off than West Ham, Liverpool, or even Arsenal in terms of signing the cream.Face facts. I imagine money will be sunk into Leicester next year, they will no longer be a selling team. It pains me to say this, but reality is starting to sink in. Our brand is still big, but who really wants to pick us as a first choice right now. We have to earn back our status as the top team, and with City looming large, and even Everton getting a huge cash infusion, it's no longer a given that players choose us.

Mahrez leaving for arsenal city, the big 2 in Spain, bayern, or psg would make perfect sense assuming the 2 English sides make the cl

Mahrez also missed a sitter and a one on one.

Good player though, will enjoy seeing how he gets on at his next club.

Only would make sense the following season or during January if Leicester are unable to maintain their consistency.

Disagree

His wages would be massively higher
He'd have a much higher chance of more trophies
He'd be playing with a higher calibre of player
He'd have a chance at a cl medal

A long contract on loads a money wages while his reputation is hot is more than enough reason imo

Players have tiny windows to bank it

If Mahrez doesn't move this summer, he may never get the hands of a big move again, and Leicester may never have the chance to sell a player for for £35m+.

He may well be the real deal and gk from strength to strength, but there is every chance he will not. He clearly has ability, but keeping that level of consistency whilst under the microscope every week, with expectancy and a huge price tag makes it a whole lot more difficult.

Clubs will still be interested in Mahrez even if he doesn't leave in the summer.

If he continues his form. If he doesn't (and he is heavily reliant on his team mates), then his value quickly plummets.
