Trasnition period will affect us too

Just because it has happened to a couple of other teams it doesn't mean it will happen to us.

Liverpool is a bad example. They went from Shankly to Paisley and continued to win things. Then Fagan had a go - and won things. And then even a player, Dalglish, decided to have a go and won a lot.

As for a transition period - we have been in various continuously for a decade.

New managers can have the very opposite effect to what you fear - Chelsea didn't do too bad with swapping managers - even during a season!

You cannot just stay with what you have out of fear. Just because United have struggled it doesn't mean we can never replace our manager!

I can see us struggling when he leaves aswell as our money grabbing owner will get another yes man who will probably be worse than wenger.

As has been said, we've been in transition for a decade or more. Time to move on this summer with a new man at the helm.

Our 'money grabbing owner' has made more than enough funds available.

Mate wenger has said in his press conference few weeks back there is no where near that amount available to spend.

But he has spent it...

What spent £150m?

Yes, in the last 3 seasons. £110m net spend.

Someone said to wenger in is press conference so you've got £150m to spend arsene and he laughed at them and said I don't think so

Not sure what part you are not getting here.
Wenger has spent £150m on signing new players (Ozil, Alexis, Cech, Elneny etc) in the last 3 seasons.
We all know Wenger doesn't tell the whole truth in press conferences - although you seem to be suggesting a £150m is available to spend in one window - which is very unlikely and also not what I said.

I'm getting the part where he hasn't got £150m to spend and thats all I know on the matter I don't understand how u don't seem to understand it?

He has spent £150m in the last 3 seasons. That was the initial statement, one which you are arguing against by saying he said he hasn't got £150m to spend.

Again, how is spending £150m (£110m) evidence of a 'money grabbing' owner? Is £150m not enough to add the correct players to the squad to make it good enough to challenge Leicester City?

posted on 19/3/16

Also, why have you decided suddenly Wenger is truthful in what he says?

Because when it come to wenger and not having money it's usually true.

Wenger ain't interested in a ding the right players that why we are here.

So now it isn't the 'money grabbing owner' but the uninterested manager?

what about wages?

I hope this isn't an excuse number 154,734 thread for Wenger apologists !

No it's not guaranteed we will struggle. We just need to get the appointment right. Man U got it wrong. Moyes clearly wasn't ready, or good enough. Was always a risk. If they appointment mourinho, I don't think they'd be as low as they are now.

I think we need to appoint a big name, someone who may only be with us for 3/4 years will be fine. But will need someone who can attract big players, and keep the ones we have, and someone who's a winner and commands respect from all players. It's a tough ask to find someone like that. But I think the board should go all out for that person.

I'm not a fan of going straight for someone like a former player. Like vieira. Let them prove themselves a bit. Get a world class manager, then hand over to a likes of vieira for the long term.

my point is apart from the £150mil he's blown big money on wages for:
walcott, rosicky,arteta,wilshere,ox, hell even diaby.
wengers has NO excuses
