Whatever happened to getting picked for the national side on merit ? Earning the right.
Too many continuous fvxkin losers been picked again. We don't need to see them gettin papped in two friendlies to Czech Republic and Denmark to confirm what we already know.
We needed to use these games to brig. Through player exactly like Arfield and start brining thorugh the next generation to rid ourselves of the players that have failed time and time gain campaign after campaign.
But it seems the habit of losing dies hard with strachan, he seems to expect different results with the same set of payers quote never qualified for anything,
Me ? I think that's a fookin joke and an ending ent of Strachan. So many good players have missed out because of his favourites "guatprenteed selection" irrespective of form.
I will not be watching either of those games because the results were cast in stone the. Knute he picked the same ah!te he always does.
Ffs Hutton, Whittaker, Mulgrew, Forrest, Brown to name but a few....

2 squads picked and him amongst others missing at the expense of some total dross that we already know is total dross. So keep picking the same total dross ? Gives lads like him a chance
arfield is pele compared to mcginn who really isn't very good at all but as strachan said last week he is from leith and has always been a hibs fan so that's probally why he has called a hibs player up
i doubt there is anybody watching hibs and rangers this year and thinks mcginn is better than Holt or Haliday never mind all the midfielders from england and the spl he is in before

McGinn was called up because he's been doing well for the 21s and Strachan likes to give younger players a taste of being in the squad.
It's unfortunate about Arfield but the manager can't be held to ransom. He has to pick who he wants.

From what I recalled he used to play for Falkirk.So I had to look up who he was.

The only players in our midfield worthy of a jersey are Naismith, Ritchie and maybe Anya. Beyond that we have a bunch of losers.
We are not strong there. We've never shown strength there. We've never dominated a team of note in midfield. It's a fallacy.
Time to bring in better, brighter younger hungrier players that haven't go into the habit of failing the the usual crowd has

Brown - finished at int'l level. Really just a very poor player. Sideways passer that has never done anything for Scotland
Morrison - good club player. But never performed in a Scotland Jersey. How many times must we play this lad to see that ?
McArthur - good player. With a future in a Scotland Jersey. Needs more opportunities when fit.
Fletcher - totally finished at int'l level. Nothing to offer. Experience is no substitute for talent.
McLean - worth a shout
Jack - also worth a shout.

arfield is a good player much better than Brown,Jack etc
plays for the best team in the championship every week against good teams and is one of their best players and he will be playing in the premier league next year by the looks of the table aswell
would take him at rangers in a minute but as i said we don't have the money to pay for top end championship players
