dodged a bullet not signing him

Did we side? Can't say I've seen much of him, but watching Antenucci and Doukara run around up front whilst Wood has been injured has been enough to show we desperately needed a striker.

We know Evans wanted him, Norwich wanted rid, he wanted to come. The deal should have been done.

The Ulster Gazelle...

Turns it on for the last 3 games of the season, otherwise a complete donkey of a player.

Side is 100% correct, he is rank!

Well done Cellino Avoided that one. Will do well now and prove us all wrong of course

The way our season sits right now we don't need Lafferty or any other loanee, so for one I don't care that he's gone somewhere else.

What's the point of wasting wages on a loanee - in whatever position.

I'd far rather us try a youngster for the remainder of the season ....................

I agree that we could do better than Lafferty.

The point is, how godawful must things be at the club that we can't even sign the players that nobody else wants?

Glad that the cheating Lafferty is not here, would have been a waste of time and money.

Would also prefer it we looked up our next striker prodigy. Its been a long tome since Beckford left. If only we found another for this level.

We did find him, Shaun.

We sold him to Fulham 2 years ago.

Its a good signing for them.

They are pushing to secure the playoffs and have 2 of probably the best strikers in the league upfront for them.

An injury to either could really screw them up, so having lafferty in there to help them close games out and in doing so give their strikers a rest, or to start if one of them is injured.

He is a useful player and despite not starting for Norwich is clearly fit and ready to go based on his NI exploits.

Truth is he is a massive tool, but is perfect for them right now

He's a donkey

He s a decent player at this level and he should do well.

Why would he choose us over them anyway, we are a pathetic club whilst they are challenging for promotion

I still think we should go for someone like Armstrong on loan at Cov. We should loan him with a view to perm.

What's the point of signing anyone when the season is over? And the coach about to be changed?
