Decent group that they should win.

Potentially tough tie against the third placed team from Germany group, but they should win.

Quarter Final against the R/U from our group or the weak Portugal group. Should win that.

Potential semi v Germany.

It could come down simply to who finds a goalscorer, as none of the top teams have someone who particularly stands out.

I think England will do well. If they can avoid Spain or Germany I can see them reaching a semi.

If England win their group they potentially have the winner of Belgium/Italy v Portugal in the Quarters and then Spain in the Semi finals.
But it wouldn't be a shock in the format to see Spain finish second in what is a tough group.

I think the Germany squad and first team is a class above even France to be honest. I put France as favourites because of home advantage, but Germany are the team to really fear in any given game.

The only sides I think are clearly better than England are Germany, France, Spain and possibly Belgium. Don't particularly rate Italy or Portugal, and certainly not the massively overrated Wales. I think we have a good chance, but then I think that every tournament

Is Benzema likely to go or not? Because he's the stand out goalscorer of a top team

Italy are better than England. Got the Juve back three and goalkeeper as well as top midfielders in Motta, Verratti and Marchisio. Only issue is the final third

Would love to get some revenge on Italy or Portugal. Long overdue.

If we can hit some sort of rhythm with these young players I honestly think we'd have a chance of winning. Needs the right players to be fit though, and maybe some of the wrong players not to be.

England have no chance. Have nobody in defence or midfield who are great in possession, bar Wilshere who will probably be injured

Is he? 3 in 11 in major tournaments.

As in he's the only top striker in the big teams

Germany don't have a striker do they? Will Gotze or Muller play up top?

With Dier playing in front of the back four, we'll have more stability about us than years gone by with the failed Gerrard/Lampard combo.

We will be destroyed if Dier plays in front of the back four.

Yeah but we'll also struggle to build attacks and keep possession if we play CBs who are limited in possession (Smalling/Jagielka/Cahill) as well as midfielders who aren't comfortable on the ball at the very top level (Dier/Henderson/Milner/Drinkwater)

It's why I would have Wilshere and Stones in my team if possible

Dier would be my choice to partner wilshere. Assuming Jack's out there is no duo I'd even be relatively ok with.

Bar Wilshere, our CM options are actually shocking. Dier would be ok with Wilshere but would struggle with mid table fodder like Henderson

I'd still fancy Germany over France as they have the experience. I'd put my money on Italy though.
