Good performance and very encouraging from a spurs point of view, seems like they all came though unscathed injury wise which is good
If spurs england players chests are puffed out a little bit wider and not there heads then it bodes well for the run in.
Have to also say. Vardy is very very good, i've not seen much but he is the type of player defenders hate playing against.
Vardy,s goal was quality as was Kane's . If we can keep this squad together and fit the future is very bright.
Im not saying this England team will win the Euros but I'm sure we can surprise a few people in the competition . A lot of our players are unknown quantities and are fearless, we are young, and have great pace on the counter attack. Our defence is the weak link though and i expect many high scoring games when England take to the field.
If only Alderweireld and Wimmer were old English names.
If Carlsberg wrote birth certificates ........
They all did well even Rose.
Kane's goal was world class. I know that sounds over the top but to take two players out the game and supply that finish is exactly that.
I'd still have Barkley ahead of Alli, although the latter is better defensively, but great to have options.
They look a team though and capable of goals which is great.

Big kudos to Poch. It's almost as if he's managing the England side on behalf of Hodgson with what he's done and is doing with these Spurs players.

That's the thing, Ross is great going forward, but from what I've seen he rarely tracks back and as a midfielder you can't do that at international level.
If you're playing a 4-2-3-1 the middle of the 3 (Alli/Barkley) doesn't have much in the way of defensive duties.
4-4-2 diamond only the tip of the diamond does little in defence, the other 3 are expected to step up
Considering Sterling is the best option for the tip, Alli would be my pick over Barkley.
4-2-3-1 you could argue for Barkely over Alli for the middle of the 3, however i think Ross is a bit too inconsistent.
I didnt watch teh game but it seems like we had a good game. Woy will put Ronney back into the squad when the Euros come and Alli/Barkley wont have a chance to start.

I think you could play both with Alli next to probably Dier especially as Hendos form is bad atm too and Barkley infront in a 4-2-3-1.
If Rooney gets back in Woy deserves what he gets lol lucky to still manager after the last World cup as it is.
Kane's and Vardy's goals made me ejaculate.
That turn from Kane was world class, and that back heel flick from Vardy was a special finish.
I like seeing Arsenal fans reaction on Twitter to Kane. Was talking to one who stated that Kane was lucky to score and done nothing in the game. What more can Kane do to change that persons opinion!? The goal against Arsenal was world class a few weeks back.
It is great we have supplied so many internationals. All are clearly deserved as all players are bang in form. I like the fact we have had some outstanding internationals over the years.
Poch has forced loads of players into the English setup no surprise he is fourth fav for the England job (never gonna go to an argie though obviously!)
In the WC Roy picked loads of LFC players and tried to play like LFC after their great season. Now he's picking Spurs' players on mass and the style has changed again. Not convinced Roy is having any influence on the team or that any real progress has been made by him since the WC, it's just that players are progressing at their clubs and bringing it to england
Big kudos to Poch. It's almost as if he's managing the England side on behalf of Hodgson with what he's done and is doing with these Spurs players.

Theres a fair few good teams and managers in England now who play similar good football with the high intensity pressing, and not too bad in possession, so the England way at international level is changing finally! however the coach we have is still a dinosaur and i don't expect anything but failure from him in the next tourney again.
