Revenant is ok no ore. Hateful eight too long..too self indulgent and too ridiculous. Tarantino is getting weary !
Saw Sicario the other day which I bet many on here would like. It's ok and quite interesting in how it's made.
A bit slow.
New film from the director that did The Prophet but forgotten the name of it for now.
Yep Bridge of S. was very good. Mark R. is a great actor
I recommend Hail Caesar. Some great performances and one of the better Coen brother movies.
Yeah, heard of Bridge of Spies. Is the tempo good?
Never heard of that Robb. Might check it out. You do seem to know about films, if nothing else.
I know it all. Except for Moyes
Sicario is good, very tense. The Big Short is interesting and quite quirky in places too, 99 Homes with Andrew Garfield and Michael Shannon is worth a watch.
While The Big Short looks at the people who caused the financial crash in '08, 99 Homes looks at the "everyday" people who were really effected by it.
I watched The Big Short a few days ago. Thought it was really good.
I watched Room yesterday and thought it was great. Spotlight is good as is The Big Short which is a bit like Wolf of Wall Street for grown ups.
We recently got the odeon limitless card. Seen a good few movies with it. A great way to take some risks with movies. Even Goosebumps was good!
What's the name of the film about priests abusing kids in America? Sure it won the Oscar for best film this year? Or at least nominated for it?
Cheers Bunteh. Is is similar to that film where Brad Pitt starred about kids abused by the warden played by Kevin Bacon?
Don't know of you like horror / thriller type movies. But It Follows got great reviews and lived up to it imo. Properly creepy.

I enjoyed the Goosebumps film. I did read the books as a kid though, so I am not sure how much of a bearing that would have on others enjoying it.
It Follows was very good. Watched the Witch the other day. Very slow but deffo stays with you afterwards. Makes you think.

Not really, it's more about how an investigative team of journalists uncover it. It was good but not the year's best film imo.
Have you seen The Babadook Robb? That was another "sleep with the lights on" movie. Heard good things about The Witch but my mate has already ruined the ending
I liked the Babadook. I always try and support the Aussie movie industry. Was very good.
13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
Anyone seen it yet? Supposed to be all right.

Not really. I don't want any action movies or superhuman. I mean in a cinema it's fantastically well made and photographed but it goes on a bit. 7/10 imo.
Overhyped like most things in Hollywood though.
Although Leonardo acting is great you couldn't help thinking it was him and that he was too well fed for someone wandering around in the wilderness surviving on nothing. Hardy was better cast imo.
Room was a very good film.
Brooklyn and straight out of Compton supposed to be good and new films Iona, Victoria and High Rise
