TEAM NEWS
Forest hope to welcome back striker Britt Assombalonga, following 13 months out with a knee injury.
Captain Henri Lansbury could also be back after a bad ankle injury. Teenage winger Oliver Burke is in contention, fresh from his Scotland debut.
Brentford are without Josh McEachran who has a suspected broken foot, Lewis Macleod (knee), Philipp Hofmann (back) and Andreas Bjelland (cruciate).
John Swift (Achilles) and Scott Hogan (hamstring) need fitness checks.
MATCH FACTS
Forest have lost just three of their previous 10 games at home to Brentford, but two of those defeats have come in the past three times they've hosted the Bees (W5 D2).
Brentford have scored two or more goals in all of their past four games against Forest.
After a 13-game unbeaten run, Forest have won just one of their last eight (D1 L6).
Brentford have collected just seven points in 2016 in the Championship, fewer than any other team.
Ben Osborn has been involved in four of Forest's last seven league goals, scoring one and assisting three times.
The Bees have lost their past four games; the current longest losing run in the Championship.
If Paul Williams wants to play "on the front foot" and "get fans out of their seats" leave two men up when we are defending a corner and give them the ball early. Simples.
I wouldn't rush back either Henri or Britt. Better to have them fully fit next August than take risks for no reward now.
Thanks for starting the thread sph.
Less is more. Take Five.
I hope Macheda is a bit sharper today. He needs to deliver soon unless he wants the fans on his back.
Starting eleven (4-3-3ish):
Usual back five
Cohen Gardner Vaughan
Burke Macheda Osborn.
For the last 15-20 mins
Usual back five
Lansbury Gardner Cohen
Burke Britt Osborn
En route to the Alps atm, so may not be able to contribute that much.
Pretty strong looking line-up that, Redfor. Hope Williams reads this board!

Hey up everyone!
I agree with the sentiment about Henri/Britt - both should be treated with kids gloves until the end of the season, so shouldn't count on them to make season-changing contributions. Saying that, there shouldn't be any problem with bringing them back slowly, just like we did with Chris Cohen.
It is a shame that Fawaz pulled his itchy trigger finger too soon (again), as it would have been good to see what Dougie would have done with a fit squad (at least having Britt back would have provided goals).
I like Red4.50's team(s) - I am looking forward to Britt and Twisty leading the line next year with Henri behind them. Saying that - any or all three may be sold over close season by our map-cap nutcase owner, so am not holding out much hope.
I think the answer to what Freedman would have done with Britt would be to play him on his own up front, whereas I'd like to see him with someone alongside to work with.
I'd have liked to see how Oliveira and Britt got on, but alas, that's unlikely to ever happen, the new manager will have his own ideas on who he wants in his squad.

In case I don't get chance to post on the MDT I'll say this now:

That would be the positive thing to do, but too many managers play negative tactics to avoid conceding rather than trying to press for a goal.
de Vries, Lichaj, Mancienne, Mills (c), Jokic, Mendes, Cohen, Vaughan, Gardner, Osborn, Macheda
Evtimov, Wilson, Lansbury, Fox, Blackstock, Tesche, O.Burke
Well that was a scare and a half, ~Mancienne hurt his knee, seemingly quite badly, and a stretcher was called for... but he's back on and playing so hopefully he's OK.
Literally nothing else has happened so far, I'm not even sure the players of both sides know we've kicked off yet.
Mancienne has tried to run his injury off but he's having to go off now, Wilson coming on in his place.
Wilson, having come on for Mancienne has now hurt himself. FCK THIS SEASON.
