Another great day at the cricket. Probably the best atmosphere for years at a pak game
Brilliant performance first up from afridi and finished off by Babar. Great toss to lose. Certain we would have batted and struggled more than they did first up
WTF is hafeez playing at though? His 3 wickets recently against markram, finch and Williamson... nearly feked it up

Some of the Pakistan fans are absolutely clueless ( and hilarious) though with their comments and antics - randomly start Mexican waves at crucial parts of the game.... berate players for not taking 2 when it’s clearly a single.... another was having a go at sarfraz for standing too far back to wahabs bowling ffs !
Just win our next 2 games and even if we get eliminated I’d be proud of the team.
Got to be wary of Afghanistan and Bangladesh especially.

Arsenal have been pretty good at home last 2 seasons though, Emirates has been a fortress, it has been our away form that has been awful.

Yeah and then they are reliant on other results to finish top. We wouldn’t face them in semis should we get there
I’m a bit disappointed we didn’t try to finish the game off early yesterday. Could’ve done with improving our run rate. We let SA make 50 more runs then they should’ve as well.

If Australia beat NZ it sets up a great game between Eng and NZ the following week. It’s good that we play our last game after England and New Zealand have finished their games.

Apparently it's average runs per over take away average runs conceded per over
RR of your team (taking full 50 overs, modified number of overs if reduced due to rain) - RR of opposing team (taking full 50 overs,modified number of overs if reduced due to rain).
For instance, yesterday: India scored 268, their RR =236/50=5.36 and Windies were bowled out for 143 inside 50 overs but we will divide by full quota , 143/50=2.86. India NRR=5.36-2.86=2.5, and windies in negative.
Good result for us today.
