Karachi is in lock down state, only masjids are open and general and pharmacy stores, thats it. GoP should be be given credit for halting this so that it does not reach epidemic proportions. Imran Khan have addressed nations several times regarding this and state hospitals have been provided necessary equipment.
But still blame lies with GoP for allowing 3000 iranis to enter Pakistan via border. Thats the reason for existence of COVID in Pakstan. May Allah have mercy upon us.
Number of cases in Pakistan approx 1,000, thats far less than any western country. GoP has to be applauded on timely lockdown, public awareness but I guess cases would have been even less had they closed international flights and borders much earlier
The cases are less because people in the pind dont even know what the virus is.

Guess what every one is perfectly aware, thats how well the Govt conducted public awareness campaign and how educated the public is. Inspite of the fact that low percentage pray 5 times a day, every one maintain his personal hygiene and washes themselves with water instead of toilet paper as in case in west, and that the primary reason why this malice has not afflicted us.
Tell u what if west had been taking as much care of hygiene as people of Pakistan, they would not have been afflicted either
Why are mosque open for Jummah? This is just ridiculous. The virus will spread ten fold.
Masjid in my community are open, myself prayed juma but I believe atleast 70% closed. None in my community have been infected.
Cases have substantially subsided in Pakistan. Unfortunately that not the case in UK. In retrospect , UK should have closed much earlier. Pakistan has been in lock down state for more than a week. People were critical they closed early but that was correct decision

With the WC2020 around the corner the starting XI I'd go with is:

Fakhar Zaman*

As for WK, Haidar can play as a WK but the risk is it could impact his development as a batsman. Rizwan is not a big hitter. Sarfraz is still useful and still can lead from the stumps.
Wahab for me has to play but we can't have 3 left hand pacers. Need one right hand. Options are Rauf, Naseem and Hasnain. Alot of pace but no accuracy.
Fakhar still gets in unless Sharjeel can find his form.
Not sure we play anyone from now until the WC begins. We probably will schedule a few warm up games just before the tournament starts.
Also do you think we’re saving Hafeez (bowling) for the World Cup just in case he gets banned again?
think we are going to NZ in Jan but thats it so far. We were trying to get Zimbabwe to come over but nothing has materialised.
