The guy has played nearly 130 T20, but always dropped in Aus, only played once there - top score of 3. His T20 average in England and NZ is 20 with a SR of 103… should be no where near the team in those conditions

Ps - he’s played 30 T20 World Cup games since 2007 and has scored 30 TWICE vs top 8 nations. I’d say every single day Pakistani national deserves more of a chance than Malik - seriously just pick anyone from the streets of Pakistan

Pakistan lacks cricket infrastructure to develop good batsman. Bowlers do not require much technique, they rely on strength and fitness more hence Pakistan is brilliant in producing pace bowlers.
