Martin to destroy the hype train
How do people think Groves will do?
Out of interest, why do people rate Martin as highly as they seem to?

How embarrassing is this, really hope Haye doesn't take that fight.
Selby late stoppage (after 8)
Groves early KO (before the end of 6)
I honestly cant tell between Joshua and Marten, I'm going to go Joshua purely for Patriotic reasons
I hope Bradley ends Pacqiuao, however at the same time if Pac wins maybe mayweather will come out of retirement and embarrass him again so its swings and roundabouts really, realistically Pacqiuao should win, but after the surgery I'd be surprised if he Ko'd him so it will be points
In terms of Martin - his record is impressive in the amount of Kos he has plus he just dosent go past round 4 very often.
I suppose if you also take into consideration the fact that he beat Glazkov so easily and he was the guy who basically ended Adamek time as a credible boxer then its too difficult to see why he is rated.
Also there are really questions about Joshua at world level, Whyte is his biggest win in 15 and going up against Martin might be seen as too big a leap for him.

Agree with the question marks over Joshua's record.
But aside from the fights you've mentioned, there aren't really many names on Martins record that make you sit up and pay attention.
It's a step up for sure, but I think he'll do it.
Should be a good fight between two knock out fighters.
Thats the thing, his record is not great and Price makes a good point about that here

I think its more of a case of people looking at martin and thinking his age and the extra fights he has under his belt will see him through

I haven't seen much of Martin so been watching him on youtube this wek and just watched the fight when he won the title.
I really cannot see him beating Joshua. Most of his fights that I can find looked to be against fat bums who don't look any more than journeymen at best. Even his title win was a poor performance and only due to a knee injury to his opponent, although he may have just bottled it or been got to by the Russian Mafia. Martin did not look anything special though.

Thank fk for that, Briggs will fight on Haye's undercard it's confirmed and then Haye said he'll fight him after and KO him
Joshua inside 3 otherwise he's gonna be in for a tough night.
He looks in great shape, can see him boxing smart until he possibly catches Martin with something, then going a bit reckless.. which is where he could get countered.
Briggs would turn up to the opening of an envelope, still trying to be relevant.
Desperate for payday, deserves nothing. Bum.
If you look at the bums he has been fighting it is ridiculous.
I really hope some half decent boxer steps up to fight him on the undercard and beats him

I want to see him beaten just so he shuts up. If he beats a bum on Hayes undercard he's in danger of getting seriously hurt.
Guess he deserves some credit for stepping in the ring with Haye at, what age? 46?
Brave or stupid...
