Bennyville is desperate.

Let's be honest here, it's the unprofessional approach of some of our team when we're 2-0 up that cost us three points today. And it's not the first time, it's regularly throughout every season that our players stop working back because they think they've done enough. It's not good enough from a professional football team.

People are having a go at our CBs, but trying to defend against crosses against Andy Carroll is clearly going to be difficult. It's the players that don't stop the cross coming in, or at least make it difficult, and most of all it's the players that stand and gormlessly watch the game go on instead of getting involved that mean defensively we are suspect. For the vast majority of most matches our defence actually looks decent. And then we stop trying and concede.

I don't know why our attacking players are absolved of defensive responsibility. At 2-0 up, with two minutes until the break, our fullbacks shouldn't be bombing up the wings, and when we turn over possession everyone should be busting a gut to close our opponents down.

We did. Are you sure you have watched it?

intent has nothing to do with it, it's foul according to the rules. Love the way footballer supporters make up this rule about intent. Careless, reckless or excessive force yes.
