When ever the pressure is ramped up on wengers teams they always crash
i don't think either will drop points, it's obviously a 2 horse race and both are going for it.
Hopefully we will be totally put out of our misery come 4:45PM.
We gotta try overtake spurs
west ham are a decent team. it wasnt pressure today that was the issue. Typical sound bite, pre written article

What?
Leicester still have work to do.They still need 3 wins for us to be unable to catch them. If they get the first of those wins tomorrow then you'd have to say it's very, very unlikely for us to catch them but if they don't then you never know what could happen in the final 5 games. Say they lose for example and still need 3 wins from 5 games for us to be unable to catch them then the pressure is on. We need to take advantage of these favourable fixtures we have and get the wins as you never know what could happen to them as they approach the finishing line

I'm sure deep down you still expect it to happen
I don't think it's gutless players - I think we've spent a large part of the season playing with a system that doesn't suit us.
I appreciate the result today wasn't what we'd hoped for (although tbh, I would have taken a point away to 6th in the table if you'd offered it to me), but since we brought Elneny, Iwobi, and Welbeck in, and switched Sanchez to the right, we've generally looked much better, IMO.
A lot of people accuse us of mental fragility, but I think the biggest problem has been a reluctance to change a flawed system until it's too late.
90% of today's performance was good. The players played some very good stuff at times.
Defensively we kept West Ham and Carroll quiet for the first 40 minutes...
But 5 minutes before halftime at 2-0 up half our team was still going forwards looking for a third. Which was absolutely moronic. The value of that third goal was not the same as the value of not conceeding. And by not doing their defensive jobs our players let West Ham back into a game they were well out of.
And allowing the players to make that same mistake, time and again, is poor coaching or poor management. Wenger was right to play on a knife-edge in that first half against a very attacking West Ham lineup. But once we went 2-0 up we should have shut up shop and taken that lead into the break. That's where the cool heads and experience is missing from this Arsenal side.
Great players, great style, great football, but lacking tactical intelligence. Over the course of the season we concede way too many goals in avoidable situations. Because we don't know when to attack and when to contain.
Lol haven't you boys run out of straw by now ..... Still clutching a plenty
To be honest, you should be more concerned with the teams below you. Good chance you will fall out of top 4

I partly agree with you there but losing from 2 - 0 up no matter who against is diabolical and this is not one off is it? Its been like this for some time now..n matter the players or systems.

And we'll see how clever u are next season when the big boys are back, you'll be back down fighting relagation where u little club belongs
If we win tomorrow im confident we will finally finish above you. We would be 6 points clear with a superior goal difference so effectively it's like being 7 points clear. Granted you have a game in hand but you still have to win that

Finish above us means nothing unless u win it.
I still don't think Spurs will finish above us. I reckon they will draw tomorrow and lose to Stoke and Chelsea.
If we win tomorrow, I think you will find it hard to come above us. You still have city away to play which you definetly won't win.
Even if you win tommorow I don't think you'll finish above us. We beat City away last season and they haven't beaten any of the top 6 so I fancy beating them. Spurs fans just never learn do they!

This.
It's a bit of both. Mental fragility and wengers lack of ability to change the system.
The system we had only worked with cazorla. Took Wenger 5 months of trying to force Ramsey to become cazorla for him to realise it wasn't working. We all could see it after 2 games. Typical from Wenger. Like how everyone can see but him that we've needed a good strong DM, keeper and striker. Took him 10 years to get a good keeper! Still wating on a striker and we've only got a decent DM now because wengers was forced to play coq due to injuries. And we argubably still need a DM.
We certainly should have won today. A supposed top team should not ever be losing a 2 goal lead. But the main mistakes were made in the summer, and over the last 5 months. In theory an away draw to a top 6 team is ok when you're going for the league. It's the total shambles of performances we've put in earlier in the season that has cost us.
