Unfortunately the 'spend hundreds of millions' model is the one that works 99 times out of a hundred so don't expect it to change any time soon.

However refreshing it is to see a 'poor' club win the league it is the exception that proves the rule.

Expect normality next season.....

I'm not denying that spending hundreds of millions doesn't result in winning titles SRP - however my comments were more aimed at those who cannot spend hundreds of millions, or choose not to, that they can still compete.

As for those that can spend big, and indeed do every window, it is clear that it results in apathy from supporters. And that is all we've seen for far too long.

The best team to grace the PL, in my opinion, is SAF's youngsters in the late 90s. They didn't cost hundreds of millions.

Perhaps it's time you established a brave new model - one of bringing in heart, passion, spirit and fun. Leicester have shown just how far that can take a team.

-------------------------------

I think that you should just celebrate your own success this season. Instead of putting down other teams, or trying to pontificate about the state of other teams, which quite frankly makes you come across as arrogant when there really is no need to be.

Leicester have been brilliant this season. So why not just enjoy that for what it is - a brilliant season for Leicester. No need to tell posters here how or what their own teams need to do, just enjoy your own success.

As and when it happens of course. It is without doubt going to happen for Leicester this season. But it hasn't happened yet. And you telling what other teams need to do is quite frankly mis-guided arrogance, and simply unnecessary. What is happening at Leicester isn't about other teams. It's about Leicester and only about Leicester. So please, just enjoy it, without feeling it necessary to resort to the kind of comments that you have made in your OP.

Suddenly there's many Leicester supporters using 606, where'd they all come from? Probably the Chelsea board

Vileplume

Maybe they all come from the Leicester board, but you, like me and pretty much everyone else here, never bothered to check the Leicester board before this season, so these posters were never ever on our radar.

So to speak.

Just check out their username numbers. Most of the regular Leicester posters on this site have been here since JA was created.

Sure is TOTF - I did hope United would put up more of a fight than what I'm watching. Spurs are a terrific team, no doubt.

Well at least we know it should be 3 points at old Trafford for us. United are awful

Spurs just delaying the inevitable really

Spurs looking pretty ominous here.

Was hoping Utd could do a job today. Emphatically not!

Uuuuuurrrgh. I'm all nervous again.

You're right on one count BS - United are truly awful. The worst I've ever seen them I think.

Spurs are a great team - I must say I do like what Pochettino is building there.

Not a popular view among my fellow Foxes, but Spurs are not out of this. Not by a long shot.

That's probably finished United off for top 4. Hopefully what little fight they had will be gone by May 1st

Shows we cannot take anything for granted and how important the win was today for us. We just need to back sure it remains in our hands to you know what.

Disagree. 7 points is too big a gap with 5 games left. I don't think anyone has made that much ground up in a title race.

Spurs have to win all those games which they can do but I can't see us dropping 7 points out of the next 15. We haven't done that all season. Even if we lose to West Ham and Spurs beat Stoke (which they will), Spurs have to play Chelsea and perhaps hardest of all - Southampton.

Saints won't be as open as United have been in this second half....

Spurs now look like getting maximum points from the last 5 games.

Goal difference taken into account:

Leicester need three wins.

West Ham = 1 point
Swansea = 3 point
Man Utd = 3 points
Everton = 1 point
Chelsea = 0 points

That makes Spurs champions

Hope you're right BS - whilst Spurs fans believe we're playing some of the league's poorest teams at the minute, I've not seen United show they are a Top 5 team this afternoon.

Regardless, we just need to keep doing what we're doing. Neither side seems like they will drop points at the minute - thank goodness for that 7 point gap

Hopefully you can keep the team together, get a decent draw next year, and give it a go.

All the mocking fans claiming leicester will embarrass themselves in the CL obviously haven't paid attention this year.

No-one knows how the CL will go for us DDd, we will certainly enjoy the ride irrespective.

Just seen that West Ham have an FA cup QF replay on Wednesday.

An extra time win for the hammers and them throwing all their eggs in to following weekends semi final would be ideal

and by decent draw i did mean at least one plum team, a barca or a bayern, that would be a hell of a night at your stadium.

and no one will convince me that you won't be more impressive than eg united were this season, who limped out miserably.

It's a big ask to expect Spurs to win all of their remaining games while expecting us to drop 7 points. Southampton won't be as poor as United today. Neither will Chelsea and that's a local derby with plenty of spice

I would expect our lead to possibly be cut to 5 points next weekend but after that I think Spurs still have too much work to do
