Decent CB 30mill
Alderweireld was 11mill. So was verts. Dier was 4.5. Wimmer was 4.
Absolutely no idea to throw such mad money around if you scout properly.
On the other side of the coin you can spend 40 mill and end up overated nonsense like John stones

in fairness his original post was as close to sensible as i have seen from him for months, though he did then spoil it with his subsequent drivel.

Herrera destroyed us when Bilbao played us. If we had a more gung ho manager Herrera would flourish. Schneiderlin and Fellaini have both been poor this season cost us lots of points by being poor at dribbling.
Maybe we should get Bielsa instead.

250 is a lot of money, but take off the si Maria fee which we recouped a lot of it back, and it averages at less than 20 million each.
In this day and age that's not gonna get you a bunch of world class players and that's the problem.
Too many changes, when all he needed to do was improve what he inherited with 5 or 6 top players

Doesnt change the fact we need top players in those 5 positions. It's allright picking out bargains but We need players of the calibre of Lloris, Stones, Kroos, Griezmann, Lukaku and they cost lots.

A wage packet of £250k per week and the promise of CL in the near future from the board when they spend another £200m on other players will probably change his mind on that I reckon.
New tv deal to add to their kit deal this summer, going to be a massive one again for united.
If De Gea goes we should be able to get Navas in return so that's the keeper sorted.
We really need to improve the attack, though.

I just realised todays game reminded me of Chelsea away. First 30 minutes Man Utd tons of possession 80% territorial possession both opposition can't get out of own half. The opposition finally attack and think why are we letting this average side dominate us. Then around 70th minute I think Chelsea and Spurs had like 1 shot on target and then peppered our goal towards end as we caved in with poor subs.
Defoe somebody said. Would have been a good buy as 3rd or 4th choice striker. Always has scored goals and is still quick.
DTKF - We need to strengthen all over. Been saying it for 2 seasons now. His buys have been awful, no disguising that. We need a RB,CB,CM,RW,CF ...oh and maybe a keeper if De Gea ups sticks !

We don't create anything, that's the biggest problem. Playing Mata right won't help that. We need a Silva,Ozil,Coutinho type player. He obviously doesn't trust Mata still to play centrally and has got that wrong all season trying Memphis,Januzaj,Mata,Herrera an enow Lingard there!!
Exactly, which is why we need to improve the attack.
