City will lose at least twice with those fixtures.
If we win all our games we'll be fourth in that case.

Will they? To who?
Chelsea, Arsenal and Saints away will be tough games for this unconvincing City side.
I think City will win four, draw one and lose one. I expect the defeat to come at Chelsea and the draw at Saints. Arseanl could get something against them but I would not bank on that.

Chelsea are on their holidays and were beaten by Swansea. Arsenal will have nothing to play for and City always do well at Saints.
City have looked better recently and have their big players back.

Actually Robb I don't like the word 'will' in my original post I prefer 'most likely' as it's a prediction.
I don't want to fall into the same trap you did when you said City would run away with the league.

You're learning
Robb is that the same Chelsea you think will catch Man Utd.
City got a tad lucky against West Brom.
they could easily lost to both Chelsea and Arsenal.
lets not forget that they also are still in with a chance of getting through against PSG which makes things a bit more difficult for them.
We were 4 points ahead of Man City with 6 games to go but finished 9 points behind them. Anything can happen in premierleague. I want us to win fa cup though even if we don't finish in top 4 as it is something tangible and will go down in history. We are not good enough to win champions league anyway as we have don't a good strikeforce or defence.
pretty hopeful to suggest we will get something from every game left tbh

Let's be fair though. They had their eye on the CL game and rested Silva, KDB, Fernandinho and Yaya.

I know. I need to cling on to something though!
If we win nine games from now until the end of the season we'll win a trophy and get top four IMO which would be a great way to end an otherwise disappointing season.
Perhaps Rooney will lead the way.........
City always do well at Saints.

No, he's talking about a scenario I thought could happen a couple of months back.
After looking at how Chelsea have played since then i've revised that opinion.

This effectively 5 only counts if it was 5pts effectively 6.
They lose 1 and draw 1 and we win 2 we go ahead of them. Its means nothing.

Well it does mean something. if we are equal on points with them through any number of scenarios then their goal difference is a point as we found out in 2012
I've been saying for months now that we won't be consistent enough to finish top four, doesn't matter about the fixtures or points difference, the current top four will stay as it is IMO.
I wouldn't discount Liverpool...
I would Melton. Even if we win every game (which we won't), we would only get 69 points, meaning you only have to win 4 of your 6 to finish above us.
Losing at Southampton from a winning position effectively killed our chances.
We can sneak into the top 6 though.
