Coutinho has scored 7, assisted 5 from them 20 appearances.
Should Delli Ali be nominated?
Scored more and assisted more, so I would guess so.
But it was more aimed at Rauben, who has used the 'but he has only played...' a few times on this thread to discount players.
The always have to include a token Pool player in the shortlists don`t they, I would say Dier deserves to be included ahead of Coutinho all day long, Coutinho has done next to fack all this season.

Alli has scored 1 more and assisted 4 more than Coutinho off 11 more appearances.
If Alli is included I don't see why Coutinho shouldn't be.
Reasons for picking Alli for YPOY:
Came from league 1
Has been part of a very good Spurs side
Is U21 & got called up for the national team.
Reasons for picking Coutinho:
Scores long distance goals
Is this really up for debate?

I do not think ozil and Barkley should be there.
Ozil has some great stats and has had some great form this since but lacks the consistency throughout the season compared to others. Toby a is a glaring omission so is dare I say mark noble who has had a an excellent season.
Barkley oh the classic northern great hope. Constant media hype touches of class but no way does he deserve a shout based on his all round game or form throughout the season. In comparison and this is not a bias because I support Spurs but alli is streats ahead of him.
For me....
Kante as player of the year heart and soul of the Leicester side.
Kane as young player as to be fair I expect him to finish the season top scorer with a another big haul of goals so deserves the award. Usually he would take the top gong but someone from Leicester will take it. Kane deserves it more than alli because of being top scorer in the league.
