Also Forest's achievement isn't totally unique, Ipswich did it and Watford came very close.
Also it was does as recently as 1997 by Kaiserslauten as well as by Saint Ettienne, DWS and Monaco in other European leagues. Of course its an incredible achievement but its not unique to forest.
The European cups are of course a whole other story which im sure we will replicate when Jamie Vardy scores hat tricks in back to back CL finals
yes you have ,,,,,How about the bloke who cannot get in your team

I'd forgotten all about Leicester until coming across this fine advertisement for bitterness.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know, imagine us mad crazy Spurs fans driven by bitterness and delusion wanting our team to win the League! Whats got into us?
Squid, totally agree, sure Leicester have had a good season, but they are not exactly paupers themselves, they are playing in an era where it is still possible for all clubs in the Prem to purchase the odd stella player with all the finance that is given to them by the TV deals.
Still for me the greatest ever top flight achievement in my lifetime was Ipswich Town winning the Old First Division at their first attempt in season 1961/62, when you consider that five years earlier they were a member of the old Third Division South and won that division season 1956/57, won the old Second Division 1960/61, so they were champions of three different division in five or six years on a shoestring, and were up against all the money teams, Spurs, United, Sunderland, Everton of that era.
They were relegated in season 1963/64. So they had won three titles and a relegation all in the space of eight season. Quite remarkable.
Pur most expensive player was Kramaric for £9 million, then Shinji was about the same, Ulloa was £8
Before that we made the greatest purchase in football history which was Ade Akinbyi for £5 million
Leicester have had a good season, but they are not exactly paupers themselves
Sandy every team around us has a single player who cost more than our whole starting 11
Chesham believe it or not I will be cheering you on next year
I was taking the 3 year forest thing as one achievement

Not disagreeing with that mate, but it does not mean that Leicester cannot spend £50 million if they so chose to, they get something approaching £100 million is it just from the TV deals. Their are a couple of teams like City and Chelsea who have won the lottery, but in general it is perfectly possible to compete with all the TV money coming into the top flight clubs now.
Teams like Ipswich back in the day, were at a severe disadvantage having come up and had to compete with Spurs, who were able to generate far bigger income from their 60,000 plus crowds they were able to attract, and that was the main source of income back in the day, gate receipts. No TV money to fall back on.
Without sounding bitter towards Leicester, if they had to play the amount of Europa games that we have they wouldn't be 7 points clear at the top of the table.
However what they have done and are doing is just remarkable with the resources they have, apart from a certain poster who's name sounds like barrow they have a great set of fans and if we do miss out on the title then I'm glad it will be them that wins it.
It's a complete snoozefest tbh.
I read an article where it said:
The new TV deal will give untold riches to all the Prem clubs, Leicester, then, will be able to outspend any European clubs except Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and arguably (and only arguably) Bayern Munich.
So whilst Leicester have had a great season, it should be put in a bit of context. They are not winning this on a shoestring.
But Sandy, we haven't spent that money. As I said, our whole starting 11 cost less than one of Spurs's players. If I have £100 million in the bank but am spending only £50,000 a year on my household budget than I am running on a shoestring budget, I might not have to do that but I still am doing it.
We may well have a load of money to spend in the future, but now, compared to the other teams around us, we are running on far far less I am unsure how you don't see this
Chesham
Lcfc have spent very wisely other clubs would do well to follow your lead .As for Spurs , we do have some pricey players but only because we bought young top otch players and sold them for massive amounts and spent the cash on players
Oh yeah don't get me wrong I think Spurs have managed to strike a great balance between a few pricer purchases and a young team. I hope that if we don't feature in the league picture next season that Spurs do well because I like Poch a lot as well as Kane and Alli who I think are excellent players and seem to be good people too along with other players in your squad.
However I was just trying to point out to Sandy that while we obviously don't have 0 money that compared to all the clubs around, Spurs included, our current squad was assembled far more cheaply.
Of course, as Sandy notes, we do have the money to change that over summer, but currently our first 11 cost just over £20 million which compared to the teams around us is very very little

Raptor you are right to laugh that clearly was a joke as our best signing was obviously Matt Mills for £5.5 million

Leicester have a bigger net spend than Spurs past two seasons.

I think we will call a truce on this one, agreed Leicester`s current starting line up has been done on the cheap. But the club still spent £35 million on players season 15/16.
got to agree with the OP, the love in is getting into overdrive.
Literally no injuries at all and when they did get them they missed like 1 freaking week. Vardys was the best, went for an op and missed 1 freaking game. If that was any arsenal player we are talking 6 weeks minimum.
They have had some amazing amount of luck go their way when official havent given clear pens against them. Huth seems to do his impression of Kasper almost every week but get away with it.

Bubsy, sounds more like you guys.... Since fergie has left you haven't even come close to winning it so it's probably 30 years before you smell the title again you have been that poor. Spurs will be here next season and just as good so get used to it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Possibly, but you want see me winging about it and taking it out on Leicester.
I have to admit Leicester have been incredibly lucky. That's not me being bitter because I have given them credit on so many occasions on here but god they are about as jammy as can get. How the hell did that useless pr** Rodwell miss that almost open goal last week? Not to mention Leicester getting the lucky ref decisions to. I could count atleast 4/5 penalties that should of been given to the opposition against Leicester in the last 6 games. Anyway they have done amazing but they have been very lucky ( especially the last 6 games)
jack rodwell is a shiiiit player, and he is also acunt.

What about the harsh red that cost them 2 points at Arsenal, for example?
They may have rode their luck at times, but now 7 points worth.

Bubsy, I don't know mate I have watched them the last 7 games and I would say they rode their luck on more than one occasion. Someone above saying "huth doing his best kasper impression" is spot on... I have lost the count the number of handballs in the penalty box they have got away with: anyway brilliant story still and they will go onto win the league
