We've not laid a brick yet
The brick bit is the easy part, getting the foundations in is the most difficult thing initially.
The foundations have been progressing very well over the past 6 months.
You can see how big its footprint is going to be, where it is currently and the whole of our current stadium
The design of the stadium, purpose built for football, ensures that spectators are still fairly close to the pitch, closer than the Emirates & yards closer that the OS.
One end will be a Spion Kop, which will give us our own wall of sound similar to Dortmunds Yellow Wall, creating an intimidating atmosphere for visiting teams!
We've already got a wall of sound where I sit
It's called the Paxton
I think end of season activity on site should really ramp up, they are currently doing the basement and foundation work, a massive amount of work. Things should start going vertical after the end of the season.
Somebody has created a video illustrating how things should progress https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXUkb-kVOPY
All I keep hearing is we have got planning permission from these people then planning permission from the next person and it's just a never ending cycle of permission after permission. Sorry for being negative here boys but so far we have not put down a single brick. Every 2 months we get an update to say this has been approved and that's been approved. I mean how long does it take?
Don the bricks are one of the last things to go down.
Obviously not been down the lane lately as if you had you see the basement dug out and the concrete going down ready for the steel work.
Btw this was the last bit of permission we needed
Don
To be fair the foundations are probably the most important, like all builds, once the initial work gets done, then gradually you will start seeing some progress. Everytime I have a peek through at the site, it seems to be making some progress.
Lol its true I agree with don it seems permission after permission. Hopefully it is finally full steam ahead
Are the seats gonna be navy blue? hope so

Would you want a 'safe standing' area? Celtic are testing it in one section next season. Will be compliant for euro games.
