Blanket predicting shouldn't be an issue. The fact that one type of result earns you more points makes it one.
you never been to a bookies and gone all homes?
Herbie....Your so called complaint was that you were not allowed to predict more draws. That's complete bollox. Like I said, you only made 2 out of your 24 anyway.
The other issue was totally different and you know it.
They are just on the wind up yet again Wolfie
eh? don't start again Tinci
Sunny how many jokers do I have?
The points systems similar to the Pools. It's far harder in most cases to predict a draw than it is for a home win. If you don't like the system, don't play. Simple really. As with any competition you enter, you're guided by the rules. Mine seem simple enough.

I wanted to make five, but didn't want to be disqualified. They were not blanket scores but genuine predictions for last night's games.
Three of them came in
I think that next season you should be able to predict what the hell you want to. Who is to define a 'blanket prediction' where the line is concerned?
Where is the line?
Is there a line?
If I predicted five 1-1 results last night would I have been disqualified?
What about six or seven or ten?
See what I mean?
It is at your discretion as to whether or not somebody is using blanket scores.
What if somebody genuinely thought all the games would be draws?
Why is the sky blue?
Personally i just predict all the games with what i think the result will be.
That way you will naturally find an even mix.
Difficult isn't it.

I know where you got the rules from. I know why you can't blanket predict as it provides a disadvantage.
The idea of the pools system was to pick 12 score draws from a long list of games. Here we have 12 set games to pick from so the odds of correctly predicting a draw are greatly increased.
I was just pointing out to Cinci that blanket predicting in itself isn't an issue. It is the rules in this that make it an issue due to the points system being unbalanced.
Its your game and you can run it how you want. I was just pointing out why there is such controversy.
There is no controversy except from you and tino and a handful of folk who are not even in the competition.
Everyone else just predicts each week knowing what is right and wrong.
why drag me into this? I ain't done nothin guvnor

You are arguing. Wolfie argues. UH is arguing. They are all therefore part of the controversy.
Just because you have the alternative opinion, doesn't mean that there is no controversy. Differing opinions are what makes something controversial.
The fact you argue with mine when I air it, makes you just as much a part of it.
Not really.
You are wrong we are right.

As many as you want. So long as it not too many.
Herbie. if you wanted to predict 5 draws, then why didn't you? The one third rule from last season was dropped for this one. So like I've tried to point out, even under the old system you could have posted up to 8. I don't see what your problem is. By the way, you CAN predict what the hell you want, But to put the same scores down for every match defeats the object of a balanced competition.
The reason I did not accept a blanket 2-1 home win prediction from a poster was because he stated that he didn't have time to. That was not strictly true, as the same poster was on other threads and had plenty of time. Plus the predictions are posted days before the matches, so I cannot be held responsible if someone forgets to post them in time.
Tino you have 10, as are the rules and just like every other season.
There is no controversy, Sonny. You complained about the bonus points system at the start of the season, but went very quiet when you actually got 10 points in one of the months.
I shouldn't worry tho', as there's only 3 more rounds that I have to put up with your crap.
If someone genuinely considers that every game will end 2-1, then he's being disingenuous to post alternative score predictions just to please WIT SS.
This competition would possibly have legs if it wasn't overseen by an over zealous jumped-up jobsworth.
Cinci backs Wolfie S.S. because he's leading the competition. Does anyone double-check results anyway? Now you know why I don't enter.
You don't enter because you are a coward and don't want to be shown up.
P.S. bannoram checks the scores each week so it is a little low to suggest cheating is going down.
