So.....this John Stones character.....he's a bit rubbish at defending isn't he? You turned down £40,000,000 for him?

Another Everton "choke" job. This team and manager should hang their collective heads in shame. Man. U could very well chase this bunch from the field this week-end.

Surprised more of you didn't come here, terrible show from players who look to have given up. I expected a skeleton squad out and we were given a skeleton squad performance.

Terrible performance didn't expect it to be quite as bad but knew we were in for a hiding.

As far as the Mori tackle went it looked bad but I don't believe he meant to hurt him, was just avery poor tackle.

Soon as I saw Oviedo at RB

That's where all the problems for us came from!

The tackle, it's not the horror show everyone is talking about. You can see how he leans back as he mistimed the table to lessen the impact on the lads foot, it just rolls nastily under him.

Told a mate at work we were going to lose 4-0. Didn't bother watching it

It was a horror show of a performance. I never thought I'd see a derby performance of such little desire from the whole team. Even when we were finishing 17th/18th there was some fight, last night there was none. In fact worse than that, most of the team looked like they didn't care. Dark days ahead I fear, if we can't get up for a derby is there any guarantee of getting up for the semi on Saturday?

I was astounded at how bad you were!!? Even when you had 11...but when you went down to 10 it was like a training session for us. You had no fight or desire..no one wanted the ball and then all your fans got off!

And is disgusts me that scousers would sing the Hillsborough song. terrible night for the bitters!!

Terrible behaviour.

I agree

then at half time a FANTASTIC Everton supporter who does charity walks in his speedo's to raise money for the justice campaign turns up at the front of the away fans with a justice banner and gets applause =from all four corners of the ground.

This highlights why you cant tar everyone with the same brush but im hoping any everton fan who joined in was thoroughly embarrassed with themselves as this took place.

Great to see Speedo mock take a break from his walk, a top man no matter which team he follows. Hope he got a lift back to where he stopped yesterday

I don't think the always a victim song refers specifically to Hillsborough. It's more a reflection on the mentality of people from Liverpool in general.

Boris Johnson commented on it. It's in TV programmes like Bread and is the bases of lots of Liverpudlian humour. This feeling that everyone is against them. You know what they say a well balanced scouser has a chip on both shoulders.

Of course if Liverpool fans believe it's all about Hillsborough perhaps we should all stop singing it, if it makes them feel like victims.

It is a song that was created after the Hillsborough tragedy and this is what it references. However you do highlight the fact that I think some mindless idiots do not realise this and sing it anyway!

Imagine being in the crowd last night enjoying a football match and being reminded about the death of a family member by a group of people who are doing this to score points...that is what happens to some people in the crowd at Anfield every time this is sung.

You must be a special kind of moron, and I won't bother referencing the dig at the end...

The excerpt of your comment I've posted above... Everton fans were calling and singing about themselves as victims ?
