But what do you think...?

I think everyone would continue to call it eland road regardless of any corporate name change. Only when sky etc are talking about it would you hear the official name. So, sell the rights for loads of money. We'll always call it elland road

I don't like corporate sponsors naming the stadium, but bet 365 stadium really does take the biscuit. Its awful and is spoiling the tradition of the clubs stadia.

They can call it the durex extra ribbed stadium if they want to plough money into the club.

4

But only if built to a world class level, stands near as possible to pitch, two kops at either end

Two Kops at either end, what four Kops...?

And if possible build on the current site, not sure if there would be another space behind the west stand

I'm with LUFC 74 on this

We'll always know it as ER so take the money if someone's daft enough to give it

2 for me although a rebuild on the current site would be agreeable as LIW says ( but only 2 Kops )

Easy to answer, St James Park it will always be however many times they've changed the name

I'd also go with no 2.

4 and I think this is where we're heading if the repurchase doesn't happen soon

I see you're back to responding first to your own articles so as to artificially bump them to the top of the 'Last Commented' list, Eric. I wondered how long you would manage to avoid that.

But as to your question: it will always be Elland Road to me, so if Sky wish to call it something else and it brings in a substantial amount of money for the players, then I'd accept that. Wouldn't be happy mind, but would prefer the money (in our current position) to spend on players.

I actually do it for the simple reason when you book on it shows in your members page as something you've commented on, saves me going to look for it on the Leeds board but there you go.

I always thought they got there by the volume of folk that view your article...? Not just by me passing one comment. But I suppose you know best.

What about the possibility of say Red Bull being the investors then...?

Are we still as vehemently opposed...?

LIW, cut out the personal jibes.
That's how we lose people on this formum.
Stick to the debate.....
...and don't be a knunt!

I wouldn't have owt against Red Bull under one condition, they leave Leeds United as Leeds United!..

But I know they won't!..

The stadium they can call whatever they want, it'll still be Elland Road to the faithful, in future generations it might be called what whoever wants to to call it, but that will be by fans that hopefully see better times!..

Morning!

I'm not precious, will always be Elland Road and to be Frank, or Eric or Jonty (just to show I'm embracing all...........(for you Wakey😃)), we aren't exactly rolling in the cash so the extra money would be gratefully accepted.

Not sure I'd want to move the ground unless it was over 100 miles away as that seems like a good idea

Can't remember what number option I'm agreeing with but the intelligent will see it and those lacking in grey matter will probably make some lewd remark about my wife wanting it or suggest I never admit I'm wrong whilst glorifying idiots who twatter about on Twitter.

I couldn't care less about the stadium name. It will always be Elland Road won't it. Stoke fans aren't going to be saying "The atmosphere at the Bet365 stadium was great last night". It's still the Britannia.

If some company wanted to give us millions to place their name on the stadium, then great.

I think you're precious Stevie Dee and for what it's worth, you're the last person I would expect to be 'glorifying idiots who twatter about on Twitter....!!!'

We've got enough of them already.

Just as a point would that be a hundred miles in the direction of East Anglia...?
