No idea why we'd announce it before the seasons over and before a cup final.
No...the Express seem to think it's genuine....usually a decent source
I think its the worst kept secret in football anyway. There wont be anybody gasping when its announced will there? Most are expecting it.
Still be nice for lvg to end his career on a high though. Not always been a happy experience as Utd boss but overall his managerial career has been top notch.

Well...I still think you've left it late...but yeah
Id be very surprised if we didn't a point Jose this Summer.
I'll believe it when I see it.
What are your thoughts tho...if you do
If vG gets top 4 I think it's harsh on vG.
However, Jose is one of the top managers in world football and with the influx of new top class managers being brought in, coupled with the fact vG is ready to retire, I can see reasoning behind appointing Jose.
If we get top 4 would be nice to see how far vG can take our youngsters. And whether he'd stay on after 3 years if we were successful.
Arsenal draw again. Top 4 looks on potentially.
Arsenal are the weak link shinkji as they play average most weeks.

Mixed.
Pros:
a) He's definitely got the charisma.
b) He can probably attract some top players even without CL football.
c) He has actually had sides playing good football in the past.
d) He's our best chance of competing with the big-hitters next season.
Cons:
a) Some of his antics have been unpleasant. I've always liked him personally, but there's no doubt that he's behaved pretty badly at times, especially with Eva this season.
b) While I think the idea of his not bringing through youth is probably overstated, it's still not something you'd call a strength of his, and we need that here. Some of our youngsters have been great this season.
c) Despite the other c) above, I still generally associate Mourinho with a defensive style of football.
d) He lost the Chelsea players this season. The first time we've really seen him up against it, he just didn't have the answers. Everything has a shelf life: is Mourinho past his best?
Overall, I'm about 55-45 in favour of Mourinho and will welcome him with optimism if it happens. As you can see, though, I do have my reservations, as do many other United fans.
Doesn't Ronaldo hate mourinho? Seems like crap to me. Easy story to write.

Great reply...can't argue with any of that...
Despite his legend status...I think we were a month late sacking him

Agreed, but...had he gone early most of us here would be saying "owner trigger happy"...not given the chance to turn it around... and following coach would hear comments like.. its Jose's team, only he can take the credits for any wins. .....etc...
It was his reputation that got him the extra month or even two.

I wonder what Roman thought of our pre season matches...and Jose's decision to give them extra time pre season kick off...which ultimately contribiuted to our season
Ill be happy if we sign Jose no matter what we do for the remainder of the season.
This season I was expecting a title challenge, we got no where near a title challenge

I actually question if we were even in the prem some weeks this term...
Garbage.
What's funny is united fans think he wants to go there... He could, but United fans thinking Ronaldo will go there is hilarious
Hell I hate the idea of Jose going to ManU, but they are at this point of time a match made in the ozone, and its going to be a much more interesting season with him in the Prem.
I just hope he remembers to wipe a tear as he hold up the red shirt....All those jobs in the media, will be easier to manage with the especial one in the northern neck of the woods.
