Completely agree, we have a squad who all play their part and we have some real quality. Gray and Amartey are two very fine young players along with Chilwell and Iversen is also a very highly rated young keeper. I like the way we're buying young players for the future.
We will sign another centre half, another wide player and also another striker and that'll do for me.
I think if Kante and Mahrez did go, of course they'd be massive losses, but I am encouraged by what I've seen from Amartey and Gray. Amartey isn't the same style as Kante of course, but he is big, tough and can play a bit. He looks like the kind of defensive midfielder that MerseysideFox used to have interesting dreams over. Gray needs games to get used to the league and doesn't look quite ready yet, but he will have gained confidence from getting the opportunity to express himself successfully yesterday. I'm sure there's a lot more to come from him.
I think the main targets in the summer will be a new goalkeeper (not necessarily as first choice but someone to seriously challenge) and of course a new striker.
I think the way we have integrated Gray and Amartey has been excellent. A lot of managers would have been unwilling to give them minutes given the importance surrounding our matches currently. But this experience will be invaluable.
Gray was very impressive yesterday. Not afraid to run at players and yes, that dribble and cross for the fourth yesterday was fantastic.
He's showing great confidence and he looks determined to sieze any chances that come his way, so he could well be an important player for us next season.
I'm not a fan of that Gray guy. He needs to improve certain areas of his game for me.

Be honest, you've never seen him play. There is a reason you were banned.
Back on topic, it will interesting what route we go down transfer wise next season. We are adding young players which is excellent for the future but we will need to strengthen further for European football. Maybe Inler will get a look in next season?
There's rumors that Claudio is trying to pursuade Totti to sign for us next season.
He's getting on now but his CL experience would be vital to us.

I think they will all stay too, I can't see either of them leaving when they've earnt CL football and I'd imagine that both Kante and Mahrez will want to play for us next season.
Forget Amartey Dunge - Kante is the vision of what I used to have wet dreams about.
Amartey looks a little bit more like a Yaya Toure type player. One that would play alongside Kante rather than instead of him.
What he has looked when he's come on is very assured on the ball and able to pick a good pass out and give an option to get it back. Will be interesting to see how he develops.
Gray also much better than I was expecting based on my conversations with Brum fans. He looks very capable both defensively and going forward. Exciting.
Otherwise though, I'd suggest we still need strengthening. Whilst all the other players can do a job, I don't think King could replace DD or Kante and have the same impact. Not can Schlupp replace Mahrez or Vardy, although I do believe he could replace Albrighton.
Good times, but we will need continue to build next year. The same formula please. I don't want us to go chasing champions league players for the hell of it. We can't undo what got us here.
Mersey I think you'll find that Amartey is a bigger version of Kante and a very able replacement. This is his scout report;
Style of play, strengths & weaknesses
Amartey’s versatility has helped him slot into many positions in his young career. Operating as a center-back for Djurgårdens + Ghana & as a defensive midfielder for Copenhagen.
With a mixture of tenacity off the ball & finesse on it, Amartey’s passing ablity stands out very easily, able to supply passes between the lines from deep positions & also build up play with short passes, while not being fazed in pressure situations from opposition players. Coupled with good aerial ablity & intelligent football IQ on the pitch, this has attributed Amartey slotting into multiple positions.
Another strength of the Ghanaian international is his tenacity on & off the ball. Blessed with surreal stamina, Amartey is able to hammer around the pitch at very high work-rate levels for 90 minutes game-after-game with an aggressive & powerful mindset, closing down & dispossessing players.
He's a perfect replacement and one to compliment Drinky 👍
I understand that Arro. I've just not seen evidence on the pitch yet and if I'd not known what you've just written I wouldn't have put him there.
However, he has loads of time to develop and is very versatile. I think he could make many roles his own but he needs to be careful not to end in the Schlupp camp of many trades but never quite mastering one.
Still time for Schlupp also of course and his pace and power is now convincing me he can be a winger. His crossing and shooting is convincing me less.
Think he's a great back up to Vardy though. Would love to see him, Mahrez and Vardy running at defences!!
You've not seen it because he's not played in that position. Playing right back and wide right means he has to stay in position and not leggit around the pitch.
