2014 was close, I was hoping they would take longer.
That's because we knocked them off their fecking perch.
Not that you are obsessed
Its also 24 years tomorrow that Liverpool beat us to hand the 1st division title to Leeds.
Dirty Leeds.... we all hate Leeds....!!
This is why I've never understood United fans mocking Liverpool for not winning it for so long.
Of course it makes perfect sense to do it now though
A whole generation have seen Liverpool not win a title
I'd like to thank slippy Steve for this momentous occasion.
If I'm being honest I can see it being another 26 yrs before they win the league again
Yeah because we're not showing any signs of progress at all are we Bobby
I don't know how long it will take, but Klopp can be the man to take us there.
If Leicester win the league, the Schmeichel story really does bring home how long twenty-six years really is. For Peter to win five PL titles and have a child who grows up to win one, all uninterrupted by a Liverpool success, would be extraordinary.

That is quite a story to be fair. Even more so because he would be winning it with Leicester.
It's all about Europa league these days anyway

We'll just have to create another chance then. With the league getting more competitive I think the title winning points tally will continue to be rather low for the foreseeable future. There literally could be seven teams competing for it next season.

Or
Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United all look to buy their way back to the top and normal service resumes.
Seven teams competing for the title.
There is no such thing as 'normal' service.
Surely England's two best clubs both going a quarter of a century without winning the league tells you that much.
Ridiculous to say how long it will be before (if) we win it again.
Could be 100 years, could be 1. That goes for all the clubs still in the Prem, whether they have money or not.
Superb article backed up with facts, or should that be phackts!!
