It was a tragedy for Villa as well as himself when he fell ill. Stan's leadership on the pitch could have made a big difference to Lambert coming in as manager. A legend.

Not sure that coming back would be a good thing for either party though. Villa needs a new start. New owner, new manager, new players.

I would bring him back in some capacity myself wether as a coach or player all depending on his fitness levels
