Stop being so patently sensible and asking for what we the customers and fans want.

It'll never catch on.

Dundee United are one of Scotlands biggest sides but I think even most Arabs think they deserve the drop. Falkirk and hibs have shown quality to discuss expanding the league though.

I think this will be a year the premiership sees 2 fall. Dundee United should they finish bottom and I think Kilmarnock. If by some massive change Dundee United don't automatically go, then I think they could somehow sneak to safety but I think Dundee United Kilmarnock relegation looks almost certain.

I agree, but I would still argue that both Kilmarnock and Dundee Utd are not out of place in the SPL. I think they have been by far the 12th best team in that league. But that still doesn't mean to say that their presence lowers the marketability of our league. If we had an 18 team league and they finished in the bottom 2/3 and were relegated… by all means, but I think as the championship teams have been showing this year there is quality enough for a league that size. Dundee Utd have have reached a Scottish Cup Semi this year and took points won against 4 of the top 6 teams in the league this year (St Johnstone, Ross County, Hearts & Motherwell). This is hardly a team that is crying out to be removed from our league by being uncompetitive.

On league showings it's hard to argue both merit falling though. I appreciate in a larger league they'd maybe compete better but as it stands both are worthy of falling down a tier.

Personally if there was to be league expansion I'd still push for a relegation of sorts. Aberdeen and motherwel stayed in the league due to outside factors but in my opinion relegation brings a stronger competition even if that side is stronger than the one it replaces.

Would be fantastic if it happened but it won't.

4 OF games and at least 3 against the OF goes against what our league sadly is now.

I think if we can acknowledge that a team like that finishing last still clearly has the ability to challenge the league top sides regularly and should therefore have the right to coninue challenging. Couple this with the outstanding quality of championship teams this year, we are immediately looking at a top league of 16 (anyone doubting Raith will see they have taken points off both Rangers and Hibernian this year - Scottish Cup finalists each) as a minimum. As I say 18 would be ideal, providing more stability for those top core teams and allowing teams such as St Mirren, Dunfermline or Livingston to get a foothold without sacrificing one of the core teams (we see how damaging relegation has been on these teams in the past as well as teams down south). Not to mention the emergence of new teams through the open door at the bottom of the SPFL. Mon' Edinburgh City!

I think 16 teams in top 2 tiers with 3 up 3 down from both and then 3 regional Leagues of 10 with one promoted from each would be ideal.

Dundee United don't deserve to be kept up just because they are one of the bigger teams in scotland. If they finish bottom of the spl then they deserve to go down. It'd be like the Aberdeen situation all over again when they were allowed to stay up despite finishing bottom.

As for the hobos it'd be great if they were never to win promotion.

No effin chance. Let they kants DU EARN their place back in the top tier.

Expanded top tier yes. But not for a couple of seasons. Then increase to 16 or 18 teams

Is it any wonder fans don't get to dictate what will actually happen when you get partisan attitudes like this?

The old "fwck em, they did this back in nineteen canteen".

The game is dying on its feet. I don't know about anyone else but the "thrill" of playing Rangers or anyone else 4 times a season just numbs me. You miss a game and so what? There's 3 other times you can go. It would be much more intriguing going to a few more different grounds and actually thinking "I'm only going to get to come here once this year".

Our game is dying on its feet for many reasons and indifference is right up there as one.

16-18 team league play each other home and away. Spread the wealth and the interest. Probably throw up even more "shock" results ans make it a damned sight more interesting.

Promotion and relegation should still happen as planned in the event of any restructure. That's what's happened in the past. Although when it looked like it could benefit rangers there was a huge uproar about it.

There was a golden opportunity to change the league structure without having to worry about how many TV games the old firm had but it was utterly squandered.

For me a 16 or 18 team league is absolutely viable and there are teams good enough. The problem is next season pistol Pete will have us locked into another terrible TV deal that requires old firm games

We need to restructure to keep Dundee United in the league.

They are too big to let them drop into the lower leagues.

We can't have Hibs AND United outside of the top flight. We should move heaven and earth to stop that happening

I don't think it's a coincidence that teams out with the premier league have git better.

The money generated by the likes of Rangers, Hearts and Hibs being in the lower leagues have enabled clubs to strengthen their finances and in turn their teams.

Think what it might do to these teams if they could get more of that income from the Celtic, Dundee Utd and Aberdeen etc

It wouldn't happen by next season in any event because the powers that be couldn't agree on the colour of sheite.

The season after however would make sense and if it doesn't happen then we all know why. The existing clubs will want it all their own way. Fwck the paying fans.

You could maybe pass on your goalpost moving skills
It's a naw from me on keeping them in the league as it should be a meritocracy and not in the gift of committees

Some of us look at the bigger picture rather than just Rangers or Celtic. That's why
