Indeed they were for one season. 1977-1978 if memory serves.
Yes, Spurs we're a second division club for one season in the 70s.
Chelsea were a second division club in the 60s, 70s, 80s
26 years and still can't admit that we are the better club. Pity.

Indeed we were Sandy, but we still followed the team all over the country.

Talking of the 70s, RIP Ian Britton.
We were a 'jock' friendly club back then
I remember a game when we went 1 nil up through a Sandro screamer, we ended up losing courtesy of a goal that did not cross the line (the Gomes fack up) and an offside winner
