He beat it when he knew he was to be drummed out.

He got away by the skin of his drum.

Is there any truth to the rumour that his name was Tom Tom?

Maybe he doesn't have a name at all and, like the artist formerly known as Prince instead just uses a cymbal.

I remember when a fan dressed in Spurs favours,a white coat and a hat, walked around the track ringing a bell.....and the old Spurs band marching up and down playing blooming awful music,to my then young ears anyway.
I believe someone used to have a cockrell dummy dressed in Spurs gear.
Oh those days of innocence!!!!! and leather boots with the stud nails sticking in your feet!!!!

You must be talking mid 60's - I remember those white coats too - I remember them as lab coats.

I was thinking mid to late 50's when some of the Spurs players turned up via trolleybuses......
Can't imagine VDV or Modric turning up on a bus,can you?

WHL was quieter than the Emirates stadium last season - sounds like the drummer is needed.

Facts ???? hahaha

A load of bloody football "anoraks" and ground hoppers have made up those mickey mouse "facts".

I'll go with my own facts thanks sunshine, which are based on going to WHL every home game for over 40 years.

Now bog off.

So I produce the real stats and all you have is make believe stuff.

As confirmed, the Emirates stadium was louder than WHL last season. Even Wigan was

posted on 2/9/11

Db Shocker - 60,000 people are louder than 36,000 people.

40% more people = just 10% louder

77 db - quieter than a noisy office, electric shaver, alarm clock, police whistle

WOW - that is loud

posted on 2/9/11

Great logic with Blackpool and Wigan louder than WHL

posted on 2/9/11

77db / 60,000 = .00128 db per person
70db / 36,000 = .00194 db per person

Ergo WHL crowd louder than Emir 8's crowd

WHL > Emir 8's

The above using data from the link foolishly provided by Twee Farm

Fact

Incorrect - less decibels although out of the relegation zone for a change.

Let's bring back the role of drummer! Anyone got a drum?

Just on the role of crowd noise...spurs for the past 10 seasons have been in the top 3. Last finishing 1st in 2008/2009. 2009/2010 we were second to Stoke. 2010/2011 that's got be a mishap Shirley?

I'm not trying to take the Michael but Wigan would defentely be bottom closely followed by fulham and arsenal.

Apart from the time Tottenham came 18th of course

Can anyone confirm that having the noisiest ground makes a scrap of difference in the final points table?
