Hear hear John well put. Chris's death has personally put my disappointment for not being there yesterday into perspective.
One of the great things about this place, regardless of loyalties, we'll wum and argue with each other but when it comes to real life there is more that unites us than divides us.
RIP OohTommyWright, you're one of our own!
Thanks John, great post and his wife has been really touched by the tributes on here. He was a wonderful poster and I remember his first ever post on this forum really well - his balanced view and articulate way of capturing how it feels to be a Leicester fan really struck a chord with me.
He will be missed by all on here and as we say about Andy King - he was one of our own
Only just caught up on here and read BS's post.
I guess in all of our celebrations this is a reminder that it is only football and we shouldn't lose perspective of that.
Didn't know Chris other than reading his posts of here. He did always come across as one of the good guys. Thoughts of with the family and friends of a fellow fan of LCFC.
It really is tragic, I always saw his contributions when I was reading the Leicester boards in this amazing season.
I was always meaning to ask him which Tommy Wright he named himself after.

Nice guy, but a rubbish player for Barnsley. He was born/played for Leicester.

Barnsley's current assistant manager, I'm assuming him since he made quite a few apperances for Leicester.
Only consolation in all this is like people have said, he got to see Leicester win the title.
Nicely stated, JG. Like any family, there will always be disagreements on here but at the end of the day we are all closely connected by our deep love of this wonderful game - through good times and bad. Rest in piece Chris/Tommy, you are truly one of our own. UTF
Nice post JG. Sums up how we're all feeling on the matter.
I hope he was smiling somewhere as Wes lifted that trophy.
I'm pretty certain it was the second one Braveheart- the older Tommy. A real cult hero down here.
Very tragic. Never like to hear about the passing of a fellow fox. Especially in such circumstances and when looking forward to a truly memorable occasion.

Thought so, thank you.
I've been thinking about Chris and his family over the weekend, and I can only imagine what they're going through right now. I can't find anything even close to the right words to offer though. All I can think is that it's a timely reminder of both the briefness of life and that, despite the euphoria of the weekend just gone, there are things that are more important.
