Said this earlier, if City keep De Bruyne fit next season they will walk the league. Especially if they don't qualify for the CL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally, I'd say Spurs are very well placed to go for the title next year. They've no managerial transition to work through - Pochettino is at just the right stage, having improved them in each of his two seasons. If I had to call it now I'd say it will be between them and City.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Clockwork, as highly as I rate the job he's done, I think they will do well to finish in the top 4 again next season.
City, Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal will be itching to improve on this season, Liverpool are emerging as a threat under Klopp and Leicester won't go away without a fight.
Obviously, this is a gut feeling and we will be able to form a better opinion as soon as the window closes and we can analyse who has done the best business.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I expect City, Spurs and Liverpool to do well next year. Hard to call with Chelsea and Leicester. I think United and Arsenal will struggle for top four. As I say, though, lots can happen over summer.
Give it a rest, Arsenal won't do anything with Wenger in charge.
--------------------------
We still have the two best players in the league.

There's absolutely nothing to indicate Arsenal will struggle for Top 4. They've been poor this season but will still finish 3rd.
Can't see any reason why Liverpool will do better than Arsenal or United.
The biggest problem for Spurs is that Pochettino teams consistently run out of gas in the final few weeks of a season. So they'll need to be in a great position with a bit to spare come May. I think he slightly miscalculateds his pressing in terms of what's sustainable. Every year without fail, his teams struggle in the last 4 or 5 weeks

I wonder if they will have such luck with injuries again next season.
If they got an injury to Kane they'd be buggered. Who would they play upfront?!?!

"Stagnant" is the word I would use to describe Arsenal. I like Wenger, but he just seems to ignore key positions. Going into this season with Cech as his only signing was surely a mistake. He'll probably buy another attacking midfielder this summer and leave Arsenal light at CB, DM and arguably CF too.
Liverpool, on the other hand, have Klopp, who has taken a fairly average squad, containing none of his own signings, to two finals, playing some good attacking football on the way.

Thankyou
I know I have tied my flag to the Mourinho Mast, but Jurgen Klopp is the manager I always wanted us to go for.
Very envious of Liverpool for getting him as he is a top class coach who breeds excitement.
A lot of their so called average players look re-born under Klopp. They were destined to win the Europa after that comeback.
I read the other day that it's a myth about Spurs falling away from fatigue. Stats show it not to be true etc.
They only have started to fall away because of the emotional fallout of coming so close yet so far. I'm sure they'll be fine next season.
What they have in their favour is a very young average age but the system in which they'll get better with experience.

Agreed. He has shown that sometimes it's the manager who can be just as important as some huge signings.
Robb they fell apart in the second half against both West Brom and Chelsea. That isn't a myth. It's something that tangibly and visibly happened and they still had a chance to win the league at that time
People go over the top talking about the age of Spurs' players.
Dier and Kane are 22 and Alli is 20 but the rest of their first team is filled with players in their mid to late 20's.

I watched the West Brom game and they were very very good but were extremely unlucky and West Brom got a lucky goal from a corner in their only real shot.
That deflated Spurs as they needed to win that game and just couldn't do it at a ground which really didn't want them to win.
Spurs were poor second half in both the West Brom and Chelsea games. They mustered very very little in either and their performance level dropped markedly after half time in both games. They were good, really good, up til half time in both games
Darren, Spurs' average age is 24.9
Arsenal's is 26.8
City's is 29.3
Ours is 25.9
So?
People act like Spurs are a team full of kids when that's not the case.

Who said they're full of kids? I'm saying they're a young side with a very good system and will get better with time. They're hardly some side full of veterans who blew their one chance at the league
I said people act like they are. I think the age of their team is overplayed as it doesn't actually have that many young players in it.
'They're a young team that will get better and better' isn't exactly true either. I don't think they'll actually get better, I think they're playing above their actual level this season and yet are still just above three teams in City, United and Arsenal that have been a shambles.
All it takes is for Spurs to have a dip in form in comparison to this season and those three to be marginally better for them to fall behind them again, and this is what I expect.
Then there's Chelsea, Leicester and Liverpool as well. Spurs will struggle for top four next season, in my opinion.
I do think they'll only get better. I just don't think them running out of steam is not a myth and the evidence of what I've seen backed it up
*unintentional double negative there
Harry Kane does look awfully old for his age, and Eriksen too looks like a little old man.
They are both easy touching 50.
Arjen Robben looked about 42 aged 22
