Not knocking Leicester as they have been brilliant and it's well deserved but I can't see many of their players replicating their form at Leicester or elsewhere. Can the likes of Huth, Morgan, Drinkwater, Kante and Vardy be as good again? I have my doubts. I think Mahrez can continue this form as he looks a special talent but at the same time he is 25-26 with only one top season under his belt.

And that's what people are really missing. They focus on individuals - the cult of celebrity - and talk of clubs being 'asset-stripped'.
Leicester haven't won the league on the back of the contributions of one or two stars; they've won it as a team, as a unit, with a shared work ethic and the right tactical approaches.
Football is a team game. You cannot win trophies by just buying eleven £50m players and telling them to go on the pitch and play football.
Leicester have a greater chance of winning titles and competing in Europe bar wage increase why'd they leave for us?
Also unsure about "perfect double" for us. Both hardly the type of profile we need in the team. Spunking loads on them would prove the board haven't a clue on areas we're lacking in

It would serve Arsenal better to sign Ranieri.

True that
Lack of ambition of they join Arsenal imo, much more likely they will win at Leicester
Don't want either of these two, to be honest. I like Mahrez, but I'd need to see more than one good season from him. Kante would be terrible for us, we already have enough midfielders who can't pass the ball 5 yards, why buy another?

Wenger has claimed that he considered signing Mahrez from Le Havre when the Algeria international was playing in the French second division

And Mahrez wouldn't have made it at Arsenal.
Would never have gotten into the first xi week in week.out like he has at Leicester and thus wouldn't have developed into the player he is now.

This makes me laugh, Mahrez is easily better than all of our attacking players bar Ozil and Sanchez. "Kante would be terrible for us" - can't be any worse than Ramsey for a start, but if we're signing Xhaka then we have enough in this area. (I think)
Mahrez really is a class play. Just watch the way he just glides past players with ease. We have literally no one that can do that in our team.
Kante on the otherhand is not what we require. Do we really need another midget in the team? He's a cracking player but when the aeial bombardment comes as it usually does what use will he be? If we had 4-5 first reamers over 6 ft then yes but when your only outfield player who is really 6ft + is Giroud it does make you wonder.
Per - no longer required
Kos - just 6ft
Gabriel - again just 6 ft.
This really isn't happening
We all know Arsenal will do no business. There will be rumours all summer then we'll have the classic AW 'we tried' 'no value in the market' 'my players are ready' kind of nonsense
Why would you leave the PL Champions for Arsenal

Mahrez was good last season and had a good world cup. He's hardly a flash in the pan. He would walk into our team with ease. He would also cost £40M+ so we won't be signing him. Kante with the reported £20M release clause is more realistic but I don't if he'd really improve us significantly.
Unikely to be true. Leicester would not want anything yo distract their players, even though they have already won the league. If they are looking to sell these plyers they will make it very well known and look for the biggest money they can. I find it very unlikely they would be willing to do any serious business yet. RM were rumoured to be interested in Mahrez and they will be prepared to pay more than Arsenal. Mahrez would probably choose to go there as well.
