Benteke needed a break it seems...
He's looked far more confident since his return to the team and has scored 2 goals too...
I would keep him for another season, same with Allen
Think he might prefer to spend the sale money. £25m opening bid so far. A good Euros and we will get our money back.
He won't want to stick around getting the game time he has been given this season. Also we probably would prefer to take the money and sign another player rather than have him on the bench. Personally I'd keep him but I sense the business side of the game will come into play.
I'd like to keep tekkers, he gives us an option from the bench, a real option.
Can he? Yes, to an extent.
Will he? Nope, I don't believe he's the kind of player Klopp wants up top. If either Benteke or Balotelli are with us next year I'd be very surprised.
Klopp has already developed Benteke but he's now called Origi.

If he moves whoever comes in will still be on the bench. Perhaps he won't be replaced at all.
Personally I'd like him in the squad.
If we can use the money to buy a star like Gotze then fine, if not I hope he stays.
If we sell Benteke I would still want another striker. All three of ours have injuries in them and it's nice to have an extra option.
Not where I'd spend the big money this summer though.
Can't see Goetze at all.
It depends on whether the player wants to stay and fight for his place. However, I'm unsure whether the money men wouldn't be happy watching his Vue depreciate as he sits on the bench.
The outcome might depend on if we are in Europe next season. Lose the Europa League final and I think he will be off.
Get rid of him, get gotze, we are stacked with forwards already, bit could use more depth and goals behind the forwards.
Seems like a no brainer to me.

Think that pretty much sums it up perfectly.
It also depends if we win on Wednesday.
If we win we have champions league and a lot more games. If we lose we don't have Europe at all most likely and therefore may need to trim the squad.
The Guardian, who don't print transfer rumours for the sake of it, saying Klopp has spoken to Dembele of Rennes.

Despite the strikers we will have, I'd be surprised if Jurgen sanctions the sale of Christian. There's still something big to be gotten out of him and I think and hope that Jurgen will persevere.
Gotze? rip his hand off. I've got a suspicion, nothing more, that a Dortmund or ex-Dortmund player will be on our books come pre-season.

Damn, I've been touting Benteke all over these boards. I've even offered a deal to United whereby if they take Benteke, they can have Balo for the bargain basement price of £16m.
Now you tell me that Klopp may not sanction the deal. FFS there'll be a meltdown on the united board
