Let's be honest to ourselve and ended the season as runner up it was a season to forget for us. A waste of space.

Yes Lex....Wenger is responsible for not buying a field player and his believe that some players can stay fit the whole season.

Godfather's point is simple.

It always has been.

Arsenal's failings are not due to the manager, they are the fault of Arsenal supporters.

On-line Arsenal supporters.

He is, at least, consistent in his belief.

What are you talking about

Blaming Arsenals failings on one issue (in your case the manager) is the act of a simpletons such as yourself, Piers Morgan, african football fans on facebook etc. After every dropped point it is Wenger this, Wenger that

How can you still struggle to understand a very straight forward point about a toxic atmosphere not being conducive to a moral boost for the players on the field? Its not a difficult concept. It is definitely one of the factors of some of our bad results this season. As were the injuries, under performances of key players, bad decisions by the club heirach, one or two dodgy ref calls

Even if everything had gone our way there is no indication we would have surpassed the supreme 5000-1 over achievement of Ranieri and Leicester. The point is our fans have become arrogant and entitled and its sad to see as once i thought our fans were the best in the country. The awakening when i worked out we had the worst was a rude awakening although the reception during the norwich game gave me a glimmer of hope that there are a still a significant amount of honourable fans left

The manager thought the squad was strong enough to win the league.

The fans did not agree.

Naughty fans.

Think blaming the fans is just a cop out anyway.

What percentage of the crowd held up signs for change at the Norwich game? Not very high, was it. Had this so-called toxic atmosphere really been a factor, when better to give it a proper airing?

Nah... all a bit sad but, boring though it might be, a lack of organisation, forward planning, whatever you want to call it, but the buck stops with Wenger.

The fact that Wenger even knows whether the board are planning to give him a new contract extension says more than enough about where the power lies at our club. Weakness runs right through it.

Much like the team.
