Thought you guys had folded
Only in the World Origami Championships.
Eric. Onwards & upwards.....
One thing you can say these days about our club - the close season is almost, if not more interesting and exciting than the season itself.
Cast your mind back (for those old enough to remember) to those bygone years when there was no internet or social media.
The close(d) season was just that. Little info, no grapevine, the occasional signing. Days and days when nothing happened, nothing to read in the papers. The sports pages dominated by cricket
I suppose we should be thankful for small murphies

Small Murphies...?
I think had we had twitter etc in the sixties and seventies, some of our posters wouldn't be here now...! Their parent would have been on there instead of enjoying filling a jar at the clinic..!
Pride of the North
That's never going to happen dear.

I wish I'd thought of that one.
Here's one for you.
Looks likely to be a Hull City v The Shuffled Wendy play off final. As they are both Yorkshire* teams, who do you want to go through.
Personally I'd prefer to see The Shuffled Wendy go up
* Well South Yorkshire and East Yorkshire (not proper Yorkshire!)
Eric,
"I think had we had twitter etc in the sixties and seventies, some of our posters wouldn't be here now...! Their parent would have been on there instead of enjoying filling a jar at the clinic..!"
Now that would be a jar to blow the froth off
Re. the play off final, I'm with you on that one - it's the Wendies for me
I spent a fortune ringing ClubCall back in the 90s!!
Parents were livid
Elland White
I leave that one to you...!!
Outwood White
