Can was very leggy in the second half

But the refs were against

Sevilla showed their class and deserve a lot of credit. Would have been nice to jump ahead of the natural development curve and be in the CL but it may be to our advantage next season to have fewer matches and concentrate on the League.

No excuses.

Conceding after 18 seconds into the half? Absolutely scandalous. Pathetic second half from us, it really was.

Bolloxs. Pool better in the first half, Sevilla tactics wrong, they rectified, and won. Good game for the neutral, Liverpool have a good furure ahead, bit unlucky tonight, but in the end better team won.

Calling them amateurs and saying Stoke would have beat them and they have won 3 Europa leagues in a row now. You don't win 3 European trophies in a row and be amateurs.

Referee was woeful but even still we didn't play anywhere near our best nor did we play the game we have been successful with lately. Our press happened too deep and the only players committed to it were Can and Lallana.

Sevilla are a quality side, showed some great stuff in that second half. We couldn't live with it, but boy did we absolutely put their goals on a plate for them and hand them the cutlery too.

Well, Jurgen, you have the Summer now. Make it count. If you are serious about making progress here, only about four of the current team should be in the first XI when opening day comes around next year.
