TLOU 2 will build on the last game, the obvious way is for Ellie to be a wanted person, to me this is too obvious and will take a back seat to the real story, which I imagine Ellie growing up, maybe meeting someone taking Joels place, with Joel not easily letting go.
Who knows, but I can't imagine Joel and Ellie not in it as some have said could happen, either way any sort of TLOU 2 announcement would go down well at E3
Ellie is bound to find out the truth about Joel's hospital "rescue" definitely already had her doubts at the end of the first game.
How do they have no friends? Doesn't the game finish with Ellie and Joel going back to that place Joel's brother was running.
Prefer if they did a game or two about other characters then maybe brought them together in a final game, make it a bit different.
Heading in that direction Loco but you need to remember up untill the end they were with the fireflies. So unless there is an unknown 3rd group, you have the goverment and you have the people+fireflies. You gotta imagine the fireflies will be hunting for ellie and will get the word out quickly once they find out about ellie and that will be putting a bullseye on her for anyone and everyone.
I reckon number 2 will be Joel vs the Fireflies as he mullered there leader at the end .
I think they should leave Joel and Ellie's story where it is and instead do a 'prequel' type game. Maybe Joel's back story in how he got to Boston, fell out with Tommy, became a smuggler, etc.
Or maybe focus on different characters such as Bill, Will and Sam or maybe even how the cannibal group (David? Can't remember his name...) got to being how they are.
Part of what made TLOU so great was the ending and I fear that developing Joel and Ellie's storyline more will taint the original.
Might want to put spoilers warning in there somewhere.
In other news, I had no idea a sequel was being planned. Looking forward to it.
