£10m in the Prem is nothing tho is it. I've known managers spend more than that in the Championship and end up in a very poor position.

Seen teams on low wages win the prem.
How many Prem seasons have there been now? Is it 23?
And, remind me, how many times has that happened?
Low wages finishing higher up the table?
Pretty regularly
How often do low wages also get relegated or finish around the relegation places? More often than they finish high up would be my guess.
Interesting to note that our wage bill didn't increase between our second and third years in the Premier League. Probably why we didn't improve.

You said win the Prem, not finish higher up the table. Moving the goalposts.

£10 million is the how much more Leicester (low spenders on wages) spent on wages this season than Wolves did when they were in the Premier League.
All just weak excuses.
Fact is our squad was stronger in season three than it had been in seasons one or two but yet it regressed badly.
That is down to management, and to use a cliché, Mick had taken us as far as he could.
It didn't regress badly. We were in the same league position when he was sacked as we were in previous seasons.
We had won 3 games out of our last 25.
Failed to even score in two games against champo birmingham.
This is why the conversation is pointless because none of you will budge an inch thanks to your agendas.
We were terrible, performances were terrible and we had won three times in almost six months.
I have a different opinion to you. You can accept it or continue to argue it. Either way I'm not bothered and it isn't going to change.
Hence it is a pointless conversation.
I have conceded many points regarding Mick and was one of the later ones on here calling for his sacking.
Yet a few won't even acknowledge that we were in the midst of a terrible run with terrible performances.

Cinci loves a Mick debate.
Possibly more than Bute.

Only possibly?

Why should everyone accept your opinion when you don't accept theirs? You argue it at every turn.
We can't say anything about Mick without you banging out the same stats or slating his time at Ipswich. You slate Bute for it, but you do exactly the same on the opposite side and then wonder while people's opinions harden over it. Just give it a rest.
I didn't bring any of this up today, I merely resplied, as is my right I believe.
Good use of the word 'harden' Tamworth

Ain't no plethora happening where I am ?
Any ideas how we could gee up Jez ?
We could make a banner.
Wolves fans love a banner. I can only assume they have always been really effective and in no way cringe worthy.
Good idea Tamworth
